My wife and I went there on a Saturday at 5pm, during Happy Hour. Even though it was somewhat busy, we easily found a good seat. Great atmosphere and not too loud. Perfect to have a conversation without having to shout. Our Server, Ethan, was great. He checked back often, offered good food and drink suggestions and made sure we were happy. The Mojitos were very tasty and only $ 5.50. The Steak Bites appetizer was excellent and only $ 6 for about an 8-oz. steak worth of meat. Plenty for two people. My wife had the Black & Bleu Burger. She said it was very good and realized they make their burgers fresh. They are NOT frozen, pre-made patties. My Halibut and Chips were excellent, moist and very fresh. The Halibut is fresh-cut and breaded there… NOT frozen and warmed up like some restaurants. This was our first time visiting the Steelhead. It was a great experience and we will definitely be coming back again. For two people with drinks, appetizer and meals, the final bill was only $ 43. Very reasonable !!

Female Manager was extremely rude to her employees. Very unprofessional. Our waiter was great, food was only ok.

It’s my #1 burger place in Spokane. They serve the most delicious food ever. Yet, their service is slow and not really nice.

First time here. Had the Steelhead club sandwich with a mountain of string fries and it was outstanding! Couldn’t stop myself from eating it all. Definitely get that again. Dessert was a flight of top shelf Irish whiskey. Very nice! Service was great at the bar. I’ll be coming back here next time in Spokane.

My husband and I went here with friends from Spokane two weekends ago. It was super busy and maybe we caught it on a rough evening. Our experience was a mixed bag. We had: Bleu Cheese Fries Calamari Fish Tacos Fish and Chips Apple Cobbler with Butterscotch Ice Cream We started with the calamari which was very, very good, and also ordered the Bleu Cheese Fries which were so flavorful and good. There are a ton of them and the four of us couldn’t polish it off before dinner came. I had the fish and chips, which were fine. Fish was moist and breading wasn’t overcooked, which is a major plus. There was nothing memorable about the dish, either positive or negative, and it filled me up. My husbands fish tacos on the other hand were dry and not very well flavored. His portion was small and he stopped and again an hour later somewhere else. My girlfriend and I shared the apple cobbler. The butterscotch ice cream on top was the best part. It was luscious and savory and satisfied my sweet tooth in a couple quick bites. Service was perfect. Staff was very nice and waiter was attentive despite the crowd. I will definitely try this place again in the future on a less busy night and hopefully enjoy something better for entrees!

Inconsistent — Tonight my coworker had a great steak, and I had a burger so raw in the center it was cold(had specifically ordered«kill it — medium well’), so back it goes. Same thing as last time(mine was ok — coworker’s steak was bloody rare). Wait and bar staff seems good, service ok, great drinks — but the kitchen seems to often way undercook the meat(steaks, chops, burgers.) Once in awhile understandable — but a little training or paying attention is in order. I love the place — want to not have to rant about inconsistent cooking.

Very disappointing wait for over 40 minutes for a simple meal. The quality of food, portions and level of service has really gone down over the past year. If you want an adult sports bar, avoid Sunday. Sundays are crazy with coughing toddlers and families taking advantage of happy hour with their kids. Overall a disappointment and I certainly hope they can improve(at least back to the level when they first opened).

Iv been to this joint before and it’s been 50⁄50. Today sucked big ones. Had the Tuna appy along with the Mushroom Burger, and good god. Not happenin! Jack in the Box could have dished up a better burger. And what’s up with those itty bitty little ass fries that are chewier n shit. Hell no! Make it to where I can use my fingers to eat them with instead of a damn fork and knife. Two stars cuz of my somewhat ok experiences before. A slap in the face is what I’d rate tonight. My stomachs like«dude what the hell» I’m like«I know but 35 $ buck I gotta«stomachs like«f u «take me home» I’m like«I’m sorry stomach, if I’d known I’d give you Zips»

Been to the Steelhead several times and tonight’s visit was not as great as prior visits. Their remodeled brick and timber motif is really nicely done. The menu has enough variety to fit most tastes, but things such as a chicken alfredo with no noodles or nachos without the option of beef(only chicken) were a bit odd. We did notice that the portion size of the nachos has gone down since we last saw it, but the happy hour Schooner of beer was surprisingly large. So it goes both ways. Quality of the food is good, but my Steelburger came on the rarer side of my requested medium, and even the kids burger came being too rare for a child. The Steelburger was quite tasty, and lthough the size was smaller the nachos were good. OOooohhhh, the apple cobbler – you’ve got to try that. It was delicious. Server was a new waiter, but was still fairly attentive and responsive to our needs. Offered to replace the kids burger that was undercooked, but we skipped that. All-in-all I’d take my family and friends back there again when I’m in town.

Delicious stuff up in this spot! So I tried the bison burger, the blue cheese fries, the wings, steak bites and the fish and chips. All were very good. Bison burger was the thing. Fish and chips were good but fish might have been fried for 30 seconds too long. Steak bites were good as were the wings. Enjoy!

Probably one of the worst meals I have ever had. Sirloin steak, veggies and chefs choice for starch. I elected for double veggies instead of starch. Steak tender, but no flavor, where are the veggies? More like a scoop of diced peppers and cabbage soaked in oil. The gentleman next to me had the Alfredo and was disappointed as well. Will not be back.

Wow, Geocaching the world one cache at a time! Out from Bend Oregon, doing a a little caching and a little work. :) May the wind always be at your back and the sun shine warm upon your face. After a fun filled day of Caching I looked for a place to eat and this restaurant peeked my interest. What a find, the beer was good, however, the IPA selection is the only thing holding this to a 4 star rating. After all this is the Northwest, IPAs rule. They have a nice wine list. The Steelhead and broccoli made the day. What an amazing dish. Thanks for the experience.

I ate here with a group of friends. We were seated outside and service was a tad slow, but we knew the place was packed; our server was a nice guy. I had the Brussels sprouts and kale salad(described on the menu as: sliced brussel sprouts and kale tossed in apple cider vinaigrette topped with apples and candied walnuts) and really enjoyed it. The size was large and quite filling, and the candied walnuts were divine. One of my friends had the ahi platter and I tried a bite of the ahi – YUM. This was a good place and I wouldn’t have minded visiting again, if I’d had the chance. The menu looked packed with deliciousness.

This is a gem! Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Steak and seafood place so go with that order in mind. Great the bleu cheese and bacon fries and the steelhead. Goodness they are delicious. Large specialty drink menu and wide array of wines and liquids. Happy hour also includes ALL liquors.

Another fantastic outing at the steelhead! Monica and Robin, our, servers were awesome very fun and absolutely amazing when it came to suggestions on the menu. They were full of life exciting and fun to be around! If you get an opportunity to pick your server I highly suggest one of them. By the way, outside sitting is absolutely amazing during the summer months!

I will add more to this review as soon as I have the privilege of eating a full meal here. I have enjoyed a round of captain Morgan with great company at this bar right after getting engaged so it holds fond memories:-) my fiancé and I have stopped here a few times to grab a quick drink before heading off to dinner. This most recent trip I decided to try their $ 6 cazadores margarita and it was good just a bit too sweet for my liking. Also, since my breakfast earlier had been a disappointment we decided to share an app with our cocktails. Teriyaki steak bites ordered medium were delivered 7 minutes after they were ordered. Those steak bites came out with a quickness but they were devoured even faster. Oh my, those bites of steak were cooked perfectly and the teriyaki sauce wasn’t too thick or sweet. I appreciated the service on this recent visit; not that it is typically bad but it was far better this time around. There is an open kitchen, full bar and vast vino options that are strategically placed up a windy stair case. There is some awesome local art displayed against a very modern and industrial background. I really enjoy Steelhead and look forward to a full meal here! Happy Unilocaling

Atmosphere is wonderful. And the food Is fantastic, and priced great. Go the seared ahi and I am vey impressed. Calamari was ok but I’m not into the steak kind. Service was on point and very friendly. I WILL be back to the wonderful little place.

Ice-cold 32 oz Beer Schooners … It’s what led me to Steelhead Bar & Grille in downtown Spokane … and it’s what kept me happy for a tasty meal with a happy co-worker. Since Steelhead is the name of the restaurant, I had to try some Steelhead Fish. There are a variety of steelhead options on the menu. I opted for a Smoked Steelhead BLT($ 14.50). It’s a classic Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Sandwich except it’s loaded with a huge portion of Smoked Steelhead and served on Herb Ciabatta bread. Thanks to the server, I also learned the secret to making this a truly memorable steelhead sandwich is the restaurants local hot sauce. Ask for it … and be happy. The sandwich came with a totally a-ok side salad. I nibbled at the salad before ordering a Gin & Tonic and Bleu Cheese Fries($ 8.50) for dessert. The huge plate of Shoestring Fries topped with Bleu Cheese Crumbles, Blue Cheese Dressing, Bacon, and Green Onions is the kind of dessert you should get when you’re drinking and eating like Bobby McFerrin hummin’ Don’t Worry Be Happy. My co-worker stuck with a more classic Huckleberry Cheesecake slice for dessert after his Top Choice Sirloin Steak Dinner($ 15). He said both were pretty good. I didn’t try them since I was was happy with my Steelhead Sandwich, Blue Cheese Fries, and that huge Ice-cold 32oz Schooner of Beer happiness.
