Cannot recommend. Was given questionable advice by their technician, and not happy with work performed during service call to clean fireplaces and inspect for safety/possible replacement. Plus I was told I would receive a quote to replace my system. I never did get that quote. I called and requested a return call from the owner as a small business owner myself I felt this was a better way to handle things rather than leave a negative review. My call was returned by Marty(unsure of his title). Marty informed me that the owner did not handle calls like mine.(Funny at that point I had not told anyone why I wanted to speak with the owner, nor was there any indication that I was even remotely displeased.) Marty was rude and condescending before he even found out the reason I was calling. He argued with me and basically called me a liar. All this when I was simply calling to inform the owner of my experience… I just felt that as a business owner I would want to know… Personally I would rather give my money to a company that cares more about doing a good job, properly training their employees and overall customer satisfaction. And certainly one that shows basic respect for one human to another.

I have been using Smith Heating for our families heating/cooling needs for 15 years. Fifteen years ago, I was pregnant and it was a very hot summer. They came out within 48 hrs and installed air conditioning. Marty has worked there since I became a customer and has always helped us when needed. Over this last 4th of July, our AC went out. We called on Saturday and were offered an emergency visit or they could come on Monday. We choose for the Monday appointment and when I called at 8:30 am, Marty said we were the second visit of the day. What service! I highly recommend Smith Heating and I will use them for the next 15 years.

After 5 phone calls, a missed appointment, a claim that no one ever got my message and then finally being hung up on … I sure hope they are better installers than business people, otherwise homes will be exploding all over Spokane.
