Took my favorite pair of boots in about a year ago to have the soles redone and some stitching redone. Fantastic price but more importantly fantastic service. Boots were returned looking better than new. Recently had to have the soles glued down again as some areas started to peel. They stood by their product and again returned them above and beyond expectations. Thank you!

This was one of the worst experiences Ive had in all my life. I read the reviews and thought Id give them a try. I brought in my bridesmaid dress two weeks before I needed it. The lady assured me it would be done on time. Well for one she didnt even have me try it on when I got there. This was my first time using someone in spokane or at all. I told her what was wrong and what I needed to be fixed. I even got the ribbon she needed. Well fast forward to having to drive back and forth and losing hours at work to go up and try the dress on a billion times to the day Im headed out of town for the wedding. She didnt even have my dress done the time she said she would and I had to wait. Now mind you this was the day and two hours before I had to jump on the plane. So I didnt have time to try it on once more. I get to my destination and try it on the next day to make sure it fit. Well looky there it doesnt and she didnt fix what I asked. She charged me almost 30 $ more than what she quoted me at the beginning mind you. Well after a second attempt with some relatives who are older and wiser than me. They said we theres nothing we can do. What do I mean by that you ask? Well two of the loops this lady «sewed» on my dress broke after only trying the dress on twice. Well it is the day before the wedding and its crunch time. So we all think that its best to go find another dress because there is no way someone could fix it time with it already not fitting and then to have two loops break in the back. So not only did I get charged more than I was quoted, the dress still didnt work, but I had to go spend money to get a new dress, along with all the gas I used to get my dress fixed by this business. I called to see if I could get any sort of refund and she was polite and said sure of course. Well once I got back to spokane things changed to well this has never happened before and that they needed the dress and would just fix it instead of giving me any kind of refund. I wasnt ok with that especially since I now have two dress that Im never gonna wear again and one that doesnt even work to wear. I told her that and she just threw $ 10 in my face and said «can we call this even». We are gonna just leave it at that. There is more I could say but I think Ive said enough. Never did I ask for a full refund I just wanted more than $ 10 thrown in my face. I will never use this company or recommend this company. For such a small company you would think they would want customers to return but I guess not.

I think it’s pretty lousy for an alterations and sewing store to refuse to measure you. You do alterations, so it would make sense that you measure people as well!

I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem on Unilocal.I was desperate to get my bridesmaid dress in and done in 2 days because I was flying out-​of-​state to attend a wedding. I was hesitant to ask, but it is completely my fault for doing it last minute. Yet, they were so understanding and promised me they would get it done within the time I needed it, without charging me extra! Also, it was very reasonably priced – $ 60 for a big chung hemmed (3 layers of the dress). Great and quick service – highly recommend!

Seriously, some of the nicest people in the business. Always on time, great work, and reasonable prices. I took a bridesmaid dress in for altering and needed a lot of help since I had lost weight. When done, the dress fit like a glove. I have taken many other items here to be fixed and always left pleased. Highly recommended.

I had asked for suggestions from my friends on Facebook and received several recommendations. Received several recommendations for JK Tailors and for that reason, decided to bring my daughter’s Prom dress to them to have a corset back added.
They did a fantastic job!
My daughter’s dress turned out beautiful! The back truly added to the dress and she was the «Bell Of The Ball.»
Also, the price was truly reasonable. The cost to add the new back was just $ 55.00.
I would definitely recommend JK Tailors to anyone that needs to have important work done and the dress was finished when promised.

I went into JK Tailors and Shoe repair after shopping at two other custom boot builders. After speaking to John for a few minutes and seeing some of the key differences in how he built his boots I ordered a pair on the spot.
About 5 weeks later my boots were ready and shipped to my front door. When I opened the box I was absolutely speechless. My boots are the best looking boots I have ever seen. When I put them on it just got better.
In summery these are the best built boots on the market in my opinion, they are tuff, good to look at, and the construction quality is unsurpassed. Well worth every penny,

Took daughters prom dress in for hemming and 2″ off sides. Dress was not ready when promised. Hem was shorter in back than front. good attitude but sides were never properly done. Work looks good but measuring and completion not accurate. Plan on multiple times back and have plenty of time before alterations need to be completed.

I took two pairs of boots in for some repairs. He did an excellent job! You can tell by the workmanship that he truly cares about his craft.
Any time I need some repairs done on shoes/​boots this is the only place I will go.
Prices are very reasonable as well.
