Hampton Inn Spokane

After traveling for a stressful meeting, my flight back to Seattle got canceled and I was stuck in Spokane due to the huge windstorm. After about an hour of trying to find a room at any hotel near the airport, I stumbled into Hampton Inn and found a room.
Hungry and tired, I was roaming around the lobby to eat their delicious complimentary cookies and coffee. With groups of people stuck in Spokane and no restaurants delivering due to dangerous road conditions, they were out of ready-​made food in their little store.
August, the Assist. Gen. Manager, looked out for me and gave me food to eat while their kitchen was making more food. August really cares and goes out of his way to help people. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks, August!

My son and I are staying this weekend visiting Gonzaga and we have had the best service from a very friendly staff here at the Hampton Inn. August is the Asst General Manager and he makes everyone feel at home with his amazing hospitality.
Of course Hampton Inns are my favorite hotel chain — spacious, clean rooms; affordable rates; free wi-​if & breakfast. The hotel in Spokane has a roomy fitness room with Windows opening up into their spacious pool. The cookies and hot chocolate are also a nice touch in the lobby on a cold night like tonight too.
We will definitely be back to Spokane and stay here again.

Booking and checking in are a breeze, the front desk is very easy to talk with and greeted me right away. Rooms are very large and spacious. Tv in room is up to date which was nice. Breakfast in the morning was nore then expected. Options for everyones needs. Will definetly be back here again.

This Hampton is top notch. Breakfast buffet is delicious, and the rooms are very neat and clean.

I travel continually for work, this is my favorite for the spokane area, great staff and always clean. Beds are great, parking good, and small restaurant to boot, and the food is tasty.

Hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Security is non-​existent!!! We checked in very late. We asked the night clerk about the safety of our vehicles, and he told us that if we leave anything of value in the vehicle, chances of it being there in the morning are slim. He advised us that cars are always getting broken in to in the parking lot. Given that they are aware of this problem, you would think they would have security cameras installed, or have a security guard patrol the parking area… NO! Took everything of value from our car and woke up in the morning to gouges all around the window from some idiot trying to fish a hangar through to unlock the door and steal NOTHING!!! Day shift manager «unaware» that there have been any security issues with vehicles there. Really?

My family and I were driving home from Rapid City, SD to Bellevue, WA and needed a final night stop. We decided to go past Missoula, MT and make it to Spokane for the shorter second day drive. We didn’t book a hotel room ahead of time so about an hour outside of Spokane, we checked some prices online and called the Hampton Inn since it was right off I90.
The room was $ 120 for two queen beds — sufficient for our family of 5 traveling with a sleeping bag. The hotel is what you expect. Serviceable, generally clean, well lit and with solid staff. There are no surprises, good or bad, and that is a compliment. They offer free hot breakfast which I didn’t partake, but the rest of the family said it was not all that great and we stopped on the road to get coffee and muffins.

This Hampton is one of Hilton’s hidden gems. It sits way back from the road in Spokane. It’s relatively new and this is our go-​to place to stay for any events in Spokane, Pullman, or Coeur d’Alene.
The breakfast is a typical «Hampton» breakfast — which means it’s good, but don’t expect it to be gourmet. I have always found enough food to eat even if I’m really watching specific intake (Typically low-​carb). Lots of fresh fruit, including raspberries and blueberries this time.
The workout room is typical — but they have the A/​C set to 64 degrees, and it’s up on the wall and blows right down on the treadmills. I normally can’t do more than 3 on a treadmill at a hotel, but here it’s comfortable to do 5 or more.
The pool is great also — indoor — warm (86 degrees today) and the hot tub was 98.
We’ve been fortunate to be upgraded to the Emerald suite on a couple of stays here and those rooms are so cool. Separate bedroom, leather couch, dining room table, and a fireplace visible from 3 sides, and a jet-​tub in the master bedroom. I wish I could afford to stay in those rooms every time.
Oh — one kinda cool things is that the breakfast area is a restaurant also — they are open more than just for breakfast. You have to pay during the other times, but it’s nice to have an option for food that isn’t junk from the room next to check-​in.
The normal rooms are spacious — and the whole place is quiet and safe. I won’t bother staying anywhere else in Spokane.

This hotel was comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable, but we needed our own pillows (the pillows were way too firm). The staff was nice although I didn’t talk to them much. The only downside, although there is a Bistro in the hotel, they didn’t have room service. There was no menu in the room. Often you can locate a notebook containing local restaurants, but this was not included either.

the.rooms.where clean.and.the staff was friendly. The. main reason we stay at Hamptons is for. their brunch and this one disappointed. Half cooked bacon and cold pastries from Costco. Fresh fruit and real eggs would have. been nice.

The room was clean and a decent size, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I give them a huge thanks for letting us check in early as well. We flew in very early AM for a 1pm meeting and wouldn’t be back to the hotel until near midnight. We explained our situation to the staff and they let us get in the room early, relax and get unpacked so we wouldn’t have to deal with all that when we returned at midnight.
The hotel is near the airport which is very convenient.

I have stayed at this location on more than one trip to Spokane. Enough times that I have finally decided to add my review to Unilocal.Overall I like hamptons, this one is one of the nicer ones and I have stayed in them in at least 10 states. The most common problem I have had at this Hampton is that the electronic door keys are very sensitive and don’t always work right (pull them out slowly). Also, I have been there on 2 separate occasions when the fire alarms went off. once at 3:30 in the morning, which can be unsettling. All that considered, it is clean and the staff is friendly. I have never had any problem with staff. The food is ok, and I always rent a movie, which you can not do at Hilton Garden inn down the street.

Very typical 3 star hotel. I am giving it 4 stars because of the staff. Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Very clean. Nice beds. Good repair and safe/​secure. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was fine, but they have a very strange receipt procedure for the in-​house café. When you get your receipt and you want to charge it to your room number they present you with two slips of paper – one green and one yellow. On the green slip you write your name, room number and the meal charge; on the yellow slip you again have to fill in your name, room number and the amount of the tip. The waitress was very apologetic about the weird system, but she had no choice because that’s how it’s done.
Hey Hampton Inn, what about presenting a single charge slip where you can enter the tip and final total all on one piece of paper? That’s how every other hotel restaurant does it.

Good rooms and great service. They have a nice indoor pool as well, which I always forget to use! Recently renovated their dining area and it’s much nicer. Food is decent, and the free breakfast has a large variety of options. This is a ways from downtown, but close to the airport.

I thought this was a little nicer-​than-​average Hampton Inn. It sits back off the street so it’s sort of its own little world back there and was quiet. We’d go back.

I’ve only stayed overnight here a few times but been there multiple times for meetings and events. It’s one of three hotels we always put our associates up at as well because they’ve always been very happy. Service is top notch, hotel is very clean and they keep it up to date. Everyone that stays there has the best reviews. They have a good fitness center, indoor pool and hot tub. It’s especially nice because it’s conveniently located — very easy to get to airport, downtown, valley, north, south, etc.

This Hampton Inn was rather unique in some ways.
The hotel property is set back a little ways from the main roads. I arrived at night, and the long private road leading to the hotel is lined with trees strung with sparkly white lights. Definitely a nice touch!
The hotel also had some nice Autumn decorations in the lobby and dining area — Jack O’Lanterns, mums, that sort of thing. This was very welcoming and cozy!
The lobby and first floor are laid out a little weird. The breakfast area is sunken, so you have to go down stairs or a ramp to get to it. Food is for sale in the evenings. A flat panel TV and a fireplace are also in this sunken area.
This is one of the first Hampton’s I’ve been to that has a fairly extensive selection of refrigerated food for sale near the breakfast «nook» as well as a gift shop!
While everything was obviously well cared-​for in this hotel, the décor is a bit dated.
The fitness center is a bit small, but the equipment functions, and the free weights are definitely appreciated. The only problem during my visit is that the fitness room was really warm, and the air conditioning didn’t appear to be working.
Everything else about my stay was pleasant, and the hotel’s proximity to the Spokane airport worked out wonderfully for my itinerary.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The hotel and room were clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-​appointed. There was ample parking near the hotel and access to lobby, elevator, and rooms. I previously worked at a large major brand hotel chain and can say that this hotel competes well with much more expensive hotels.
The friendly and helpful hotel staff are ready to serve. The hotel features free newspaper, free Wi-​Fi, 24 complimentary coffee, and a nice sundries shop. The pool and workout facilities are clean and well-​appointed. Piles of clean towels are available.
This hotel gives special attention to the details (for example, in-​room terry cloth robes, 2 in-​room flat screen televisions, lap desk, etc.) – really too many to list, but you will be impressed. I have seen few hotels that give this much attention to the details.
I stayed in the Home Suite Home Suite (room 206). A very nice room with two huge beds, kitchenette, and a soaking tub that would easily fit 2 – 3 adults. The location of the room was great (middle hall, 2^nd floor). I would recommend this room.
I was actually surprised to see a hotel this nice flanked by a highway, commercial park, and residential area. I would say that its location is its only drawback.
The only suggestions I would make would be to have more hangers in the rooms and freshen up the pool/​hot tub surfaces.
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and practical hotel, this is your place. I would definitely stay here again and again.

I usually stay at this place when I’m in Spokane and have an early flight out the next day. The only nicer Hilton property in town is the Doubletree, and that’s downtown so it’s more of a hike to the airport.
This place could use a nice «Hampton» makeover, but I’ve never had any problems here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, wi-​fi works, rates are always really good.
Last time I stayed here, I got upgraded to the «Aspen Suite» since I’m a Diamond member. Holy 70s, Batman! There was a jacuzzi in the bedroom, and mirrors on all the closet doors and in a bunch of other places in the room. Very interesting, and kind of funny.
Overall, I’d recommend staying here if you need a clean, comfy place to crash for the night.
