Thankfully they are still open, but just online.

I have never, ever, seen such a formidable array of vintage clothing gems in one place. I was wide-​eyed just looking through every section: dresses, blouses, short skirts, long skirts, nightgowns, formal gowns, fur coats, hats, jewelry, bags… all in top-​condition and well-​priced. I couldn’t believe such a treasure trove existed in Spokane WA of all places!
Instead of picking through the oddball, unwearable items that most vintage shops carry, Carousel had dozens of prêt-​a-​porter pieces I dreamed of taking home. If you are serious about vintage, leave some room in your suitcase/​closet for Carousel!

Carousel is perfection. The owner Jenny truly is an expert on vintage clothing and you really can find the perfect dress/​coat/​skirt for whatever occasion you are looking for. She is a perfectionist with the quality of her selection. You will never find clothing here with any flaws (never a stain, rip, or strange smell!), and she can look at your body and know your size! It is a fact that women are larger now then they were 50+years ago (DUH), but Carousel DOES carry all sizes. She has everything from frothy cupcake prom dresses (lots of tulle!!) to gorgeous one-​of-​a-​kind wedding dresses. There is also cocktail dresses, psychedelic jumpsuits, tapestry bags, amazing hats, plaid cloaks, and office skirts +more! This isn’t Value Village, THIS is a high quality vintage boutique. I have been in many times and found the most gorgeous pieces for my wardrobe. I have seen that her clothing has been also published in fashion magazines and websites as well.
As for her personality, I’ve always found the owner bubbly and gracious, and can carry on quite the conversation. She always has smiling eyes and the cutest outfit!

The vintage here is truly vintage. If you are looking for the latest trends or some Dior dress that someone decided to get rid of, you probably won’t find it here. What you will find are some unique pieces and depending on the occasion, the perfect dress. Their selection is vast so be prepared to do some thumbing through racks, etc. Very clean and organized as well.
