Abacus is a Family Owned Business since 1961. Abacus Sells and Repairs Computers, Printers, Notebooks, Calculators, Typewriters etc. Our staff is trained to service Lenovo, Dell, Sony, Asus, Acer, HP, Gateway, Toshiba and off Brands.

We specialize in Custom Built Computers to Order. We Build and Service our computers on our location. They are not shipped out. Please come and see us!

History

Established in 1961.

Mike and Shirley began this business on W. Riverside in 1961. Soon after we moved to 2^nd and Howard where we sold Typewriters, Cash Registers and the very first Computers ever.

In 1979 we became the Victor franchise and to this day still service their calculators/​computers. 1982 we outgrew that space and moved to our current location on Nevada. It was during these years that there 5 children all played roles in helping their parents with the business, sometimes that meant doing the toilets :).

In 1992 Mike and Shirley retired and 3 of the children continued on as managers and in 1999 became the new owners. We are so proud to have continued on the family tradition. To this day our father still collects many Old Antique typewriters… A Love he has always had. Sadly we saw the passing of our mother in 2007. Her guidance will always be missed.

Now we have moved to the new technology. Computers, Tablets Etc.
