Waited over hour for food. Everyone else got food. This place stinks for food service. …never did get order. Left for iron horse will get fed there

Chicken Fetticuina is Awsesome. Great place to eat. Friendly atmosphere. Plan on returning to Charlie P soon.

Stopped here for breakfast after seeing a long wait at our favorite breakfast stop in the valley. Big mistake. What we thought would be a short wait for breakfast fare turned into an hour long ordeal. We sat down to order around 9:30 and when the wait person finally came we were told there were no biscuits (the place wasn’t busy so they must have ran out the day before). We ordered and omelette and the chicken fried steak. It took at least 30 more minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did, it was a total bust. The chicken fried steak had no flavor and tasted like a breaded hamburger patty with gravy slopped on top. The omelette was okay, but when we opened the ketchup bottle the cap and top of the bottle was pure nastiness… some kind of black sludge all over it. Since the food was so poor you’d expect the service to be better, but the waitress never once smiled or checked back on us after the food arrived. We’ll never be back.

Food was excellent! Service not so much the waiter’s the gentleman (Mike if I remember correctly) was very courteous but he was handling both the bar and the dining area so he was spread very thin. Not enough to deter me I understand the situation, an extra person and it’d be a five star review.

Food was excellent! Service was laced with an attitude. Won’t be back. Was first and last time at Charlie p’s. Service won’t change waitress stated she’d been there 5 years. Hope she’s worth it.

Arguably the best chicken fried steak in town. Made from scratch, how they’re supposed to be. Generous portions while maintaining good taste. I’ve been back 3 times for breakfast, impressed every time. Went for dinner, equally impressed. Bloody Mary’s are done quite well also. Staff is friendly, the owner obviously enjoys and cares about the quality.

Delicious food in the Spokane Valley! Awesome bartending service and waiter service from the sunday bartender young man I don’t know his name but he’s rad. My husband loves the steak, an I love there broasted chicken. I like there outside patio as well. I totally recommend them

The hidden secret for Breakfast. Was in line at another place and decided on this place instead. Best choice I’ve made in an act of desperation.

We dined here last night. steak and bake special was awesome. affordable and the service super friendly…5 stars!!!

Absolute gem. The broasted chicken and mac’n’cheese are to die for but if you’re lucky enough to find some BBQ on special don’t pass it up. Staff is always friendly and Charlie truly cares about the product and customer experience. Great breakfast served into the afternoon and a good clean atmosphere. A must try for sure

Excellent breakfast food. They make their own chicken fried steak. Everywhere else I’ve been in town it’s prepackaged and delivered by Sysco foods or some other food service corporation.
Their bacon is thick and delicious, the toast is sliced thick too. The hash browns are cooked just right. Service has been great the handful of times I’ve been there. This is my new go-​to breakfast place in town.

The logroller sandwich was amazing. Great good, great drinks at a fair price. Great place to come for happy hour. $ 2 drinks and they are good ones

This place is a neighborhood bar. Bar food is just ok. Nothing spectacular. It’s small. Stick to the bar food. Do not venture to try other dishes. You will be disappointed. Staff is pretty friendly. Beer is sometimes not cold enough.

I gave them one star because the waitress was fantastic!!!
The food was terrible. My chicken was cooked a different day and reheated for my meal today. I know this because the center of the breast was almost frozen. They didn’t reheat it enough. The ribs had warm meat but the bone was extremely cold. Again, frozen food or refrigerated good reheated.
Who runs a kitchen like that??? Try the burger it’s a bar so eat bar food.

This is my second time here… and I love it! Wish I lived closer. Biscuits and gravy are delicious and my husband had the Club Nasty… omg it’s huge! Burger, ham, sausage patty, eggs, turkey, bacon, cheese, in between grilled cheese sandwiches holy moly!!! Gotta come here and eat.

Very good food at a decent price. Nice atmosphere. Great Fish n Chips. Have a drink eat some food.

Wow, such good BBQ… Had the chicken dinner and a Long Island. Delish. Fall off the bone tender. Fast and friendly server (tall young guy). Will recommend to friends.

Not a bad place to grab some grub. Decent size burgers, not cheap though. Ten bucks which I suppose is about avg these days. Great Broasted chicken, ten bucks for four pieces.
They also have pizza which I haven’t tried. Hope to though since they have a CFS that is handmade.
They smoke their own ribs outside and although they are not bad they are not smokey enough for me. The smoke ring seemed to be lacking. If i was really really craving ribs I would drive to CDA and hit up Porky G’s
Unfortunately the beer here is flat out crap. Nothing but mass produced swill.
