Established in 2003.

The karate school started in Maryland and expanded into 4 successful locations. We are now proud to have a location in the Austin area, with more locations planned.

I feel so blessed to have found this school. I searched for almost 2 years to find a school and teacher to teach my two young children martial arts. I was not interested in a black belt factory or a tournament based school. Instead I was interested in finding a school that was truly self defense based with a philosophy that matched mine for children. After a two year search I finally found the place. And what a blessing it is to have in my own back yard! Another thing that I absolutely love is the fact that my wife can take beginner classes with my children. That is so rare in a school of this type. If you are considering a martial arts school for children or adults in the Bee Caves to Spicewood corridor there is not a better one out there.

Sensei Charles Radi teaches authentic Okinawan Karate along with the history of the art. He includes practical application tools that go along with all the techniques that you learn. Charles’ style of teaching encourages you to grow not just physically, but mentally as well. His encouragement propels you to acheive far beyond what you start out believing you will acheive. Your goals will evolve with his teaching far beyond the dojo!

When I signed my 9 year old up to take classes I could tell it was the perfect place for learning karate. The instructor Sensei Charles Radi was very welcoming and encouraging with a great sense of humor that made my somewhat shy girl at ease and excited to learn. I signed up after I saw that other adults were taking beginning clssses and I could get my exercise in at the same time as my child was in class. I am a working, busy Mom who enjoys multitasking so this was perfect! Since then I have got in great shape, have lots of fun and feel smarter (helps concentration and memory) physically able to do more than I have in years!
