Lee’s Almost By The Lake

Food is always awesome here and all of the staff is very friendly and attentive. We eat here quite often and our kids (6 and 9) love it!

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch snack this week. We had missed lunch but didn’t want to eat very much since it was nearly 3:00 o’clock. I’ve eaten here several times in the past and the service is great and the food is good. It’s small, and looks like a real dive from the road but they are consistently good and with their location — they must be doing something right. We both had a bowl of homemade soup. I had split pea and the wife had turkey something. Both were good and you could tell it didn’t come from a can. Good work there Lee’s.

Lee’s is fantastic. I have been eating there periodically over the past 2 years. They have made some delicious changes to their menu. The food is reasonably priced and they are all really nice people. John and James are super personal every single time. Make sure to try the «Little Lee» cheeseburger. It is banging!

Our favorite «greasy spoon» in the Spicewood/​Briarcliff area! We’ve been dining here for almost 20 years! The new owners have done a great job keeping the place cheap and quick! The burgers are delicious, the cheese stakes are great, there’s a turkey sandwich that i LOVE, they offer several options for bread and they have fantastic fries. Even their iced tea is great!
Keep on keeping on Lee’s people! You’re doing it all right! Thanks for being there for us!

They have great Nathan’s hot dogs, nice a big, full of flavor and homemade hot dog buns. Best hot dog in town without a doubt. The burgers are always delicious. Chili cheese fries are by far the best I’ve ever had. Love the patio with my kids.

A great mom and pop shop for burgers and drinks. They have bottled craft beers. Near the lake!

Such an awesome hole in the wall! One of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had! We also got the chicken fried steak sandwich without tomatoes, onions, and mayo, and we requested gravy instead and it was wonderful! Definitely recommend if you love a good chicken fried steak! We got onion rings, fries, and curly fries and they were perfectly seasoned and not greasy! Definitely stop if you’re in the area! Don’t let the outside turn you away!

This place was a nice surprise. The service is excellent, food is not overwhelming, but it was better than expected. We had burgers and fries. It’s a little hole in the wall close to the lake. The service would bring me back again. It could use a good cleaning so I knocked a star off for that.

This place is exactly what you see is what you get. The food quality is fair. It acually tasted great after a day on the lake.
It worth the stop if you’re to hungry to get home.
I would stop again for sure.

You have to love Lee’s, you won’t find nicer people than the ones who work here. This is a place to grab really good burgers, Pizza, and diner food. I love that it’s such a divey little spot with beer wine and just a great comfortable atmosphere.

Best service ever !! They were out of my beloved tomato soup that I get with the awesome grilled cheese so they took my num so they can text me when they have it. I feel like a rock star thanks guys.

This restaurant had some of the tastiest food we have had in a while! Great breakfast and lunch-​dinner food. The owners are very friendly. Try a burger or a breakfast sandwich! You won’t be disappointed!

The Burger’s are AWESOME! The Classic Lee’s Double Meat Double Cheese with Jalapeño’s is one of the best I have ever had. It is HUGE and JUICY!

This is a small country restaurant just a hole in the wall. Nice lady at the counter but food was just below average. It was nice not to have to cook this morning but it was nothing more than very basic. Served on paper plate with plastic forks.

This place has fast and friendly service whether busy, or preparing to be… I haven’t found anything undesirable in 25 years. It is our go-​to for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend take-​out service always on time even with an extensive menu!

Lee’s doesn’t pretend to be anything more than what it is. They serve burgers, pizzas, salads and salads with the flavor you expect when you walk in; solid, tasty food but nothing genre-​shattering.
Lee’s Almost by the Lake is not something I could eat daily. It is however a great choice for the local area when a drive in to Lakeway or Bee Cave sounds horrible.

The new location of Lee’s in Marble Falls. I have tried it twice. Both times it took 35 – 45 minutes to get good. The last time I called in ahead of time. I arrived within the ten minute window that Patrick told me the food would be ready. I paid promptly and was told my food would be ready shortly. After another 35 minutes I went to the window and asked about my food. It had been sitting in a bag all this time.
I requested my money back a went and got hot fresh food from Sonic.
I called the main location and spoke to Tom whom I was told is the owner. He made no effort to make this right.
STAY AWAY FROM LEE’S BY THE LAKE.
Bad food is hard enough to swallow without having to eat it cold.
Bad service is only second to bad food.
Eat at your own peril.

No frills here, just good food in an established business on the way to Pace Bend Park. Lee’s was started by Lee (RIP) and continued by his wife and family; and sold within the last years to another party.
I came here for breakfast several years ago after way to many beers the night before out at the lake. If this scenario sounds familiar; Lee’s can be heaven on a plate at 9am. We drove in yesterday after picking up dad from his fishing excursion just down the road. The overall feel hasn’t changed a bit; with Spuds Mackenzie still keeping watch over the inside crowd.
We ordered burgers, fries, onion rings, and a grilled cheese for the kiddo. My Lee double meat, double cheese, and fresh jalapenos was good. Your like Rooster; you gotta watch your calorie intake at your age. In my defense it had a wheat bun so there! Dad had the smaller version of dubbed the little Lee. Fries, onion rings, ranch mixed with chipotle tabasco, and little Rooster’s grilled cheese made the grade.
They are now sporting pizza and gyros on the menu which was a change from the previous visit. Overall, this is a good place on the side of the road (Almost by the Lake) for your dining pleasure. I can almost see Guy Fieri rolling up in his red Camaro from here.
