History

Established in 2012.

Started during early retirement to allow for enjoyment in service to others. It has grown beyond expectations due to such demand for so many small projects needed by the homeowner.

Business Owner

The «Honey Do» Home Handyman started in the Spring of 2012 as a means of enhancing the life of the founder (see below). He enjoys doing what he loves by helping others who do not have the time or ability to do the regular maintenance of their home.

Handyman, «Whitey» Whitehurst, is a happily married (47 years) Christian who is a lifetime tinkerer. An engineer with a Masters in Business, his career was in the computer industry (since 1962) with the last fifteen years spent selling insurance claims computer processing systems to hospitals in the Southwestern U.S. Since retirement, he and his wife have done extensive traveling, as well as spending time with their five grandchildren. He got bored after doing all the «Honey Do» tasks at home and started this business in the Spring of 2012.

Whitey has helped build many homes, workshops, country houses, and done repairs on many others, including his own. The business has expanded with 3 additional handymen.
