History
Established in 1980.
I have always wanted to be a dentist! After graduating from dental school I spent 10 years in the Navy. I was stationed both state side as well as in Rota, Spain on a submarine tender. I was a general dentist for 5 years when I decided that I wanted to be a periodontist. The Navy picked me to go to out of house training in Periodontics and I selected the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill to receive this training. After receiving my specialty degree I spent the next 3 years at Parris Isand, Beaufort, SC. as the regional periodontal specialist. After 10 years of active duty I decided to open my office in Spartanburg in 1980 and have never looked back. The experiences I receive in the Navy have helped me think out of the box and provide treatments specialized to my patients needs.
