These misalignments, otherwise known as subluxations or joint dysfunctions, create interference with the transmission of proper nerve communication through the spine and extremities. This can cause decreased joint motion, pain, discomfort and/​or a lessening of the body’s ability to function properly. Chiropractic focuses on conditions stemming from restricted joint motion, mainly of the spine and related nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.

At The Joint our primary focus is on providing our patients with a pathway towards better health through ongoing chiropractic maintenance and preventative care. Our number one concern is the health and safety of the people we serve. Therefore, we only accept those patients determined to have the potential to benefit from our care.

Rest assured, should the need for further testing or a second opinion be warranted, you will be referred to the appropriate health care provider and/​or facility, when indicated.

History

Established in 2014.

The Joint was originally founded in 1999 by a Doctor of Chiropractic with a vision to transform the traditional, often misunderstood concept of routine chiropractic care by making it more convenient, friendly and affordable. In March 2010, The Joint was re-​founded with the acquisition of the original eight franchised clinics. Today, The Joint has grown to a nationwide network of more than 280 clinics and counting. We are the leader in delivering chiropractic care, performing more than two million spinal adjustments a year.

Our mission is to improve quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care delivered through a nationwide network of modern, comfortable chiropractic clinics staffed with experienced, licensed chiropractors. Dr. Daniel C.

Manager

Dr. Daniel Camilleri graduated from Chiropractic College in 1997. Since then he has helped to improve the lives of many people through a chiropractic technique known as Zone Healing. His clients have included newborns to the elderly and from Olympic athletes to celebrities.

Dr. Camilleri also believes that a major component of healing is learning, and being aware of your own body, and systems will assist in your chiropractic treatments. An informed patient will play a much more vital role in overcoming the strongholds of illness and discomfort, which is why Dr. Camilleri provides weekly classes teaching the health laws of the body, mind and soul.

For the Camilleri family, there is no better place to live than the Reno/​Sparks area. Dr. Dan Camilleri and his wife Yolanda, along with their daughter Taya and son Sonny, would rather be outdoors than in!
