Swift Transportation Company

As a professional driver in the city of Reno/​Sparks i was dumbfounded to have a swift truck (# 162 792) pullout in front of me from a truck stop. While i didnt allow him to come close to me he pulled some stunts that would have gotten me fired. As I proceeded through the intersection and my passengers saw where this guy was going, to their amazement he cut off several cars getting onto the freeway. I will be reporting this to swift. Its hard enough to drive safely without someone like this guy rolling a big rig down the freeway

Don’t ever work for this company, unless you want to be homeless. My husband took a job thinking we would be better off then we were financially, instead we almost lost our house, i made more cleaning houses working for the worst cleaning company out there. If you like living in your truck and not having a place to call home, a place to unwind that separates your personal time and work, then Swift transportation company is for you. They screw you on your pay, you have to go on line to get your pay stubs, so you can see what they’re taking out as far as taxes go, there is no pay stub mailed to you so that you can carefully go over the deductions with a fine tooth comb. We were excited we would finally going to be able to get off of welfare and be self sufficient, which hasn’t happened in years, be able to afford to send our daughter to her senior prom, be able to afford to let our kids play sports. Not going to happen for as long as we work for swift. The more I get to know about the company and how they operate, the less we’re liking it. Being stuck for days at a time in another state because they don’t have a load for you. Swift is a huge company who’s snatching every other truck company out there a long with their contracts, you can’t tell me they don’t have any loads going out. If you’re a new driver fresh out of truck school there are other companies out there that will take you and train you, and pay better mileage. Don’t work for swift, unless homelessness is something you enjoy. Do your research swift owns several companies.
