History

Established in 2001.

I’ve been a horse trainer and riding instructor since 1985. I moved to Reno in 2000 and decided to specialize in introducing children and adults to horses in a structured, safe and fun environment. Teaching is something that I really love, and helping riders discover the gentle and kind nature of my lesson horses is always rewarding.

Business Owner

I started taking riding lessons at age 11, once a week. I didn’t get my own horse until I was 25, but along the way was privileged to be able to ride a variety of horses for their owners.

I’ve been an instructor and trainer for over 25 years. I’ve competed in dressage and jumping events, have trained many different breeds, have handled foals as well as stallions. I have run a small boarding operation almost continuously since 1992.

I am always learning and pursuing new educational opportunities. I find everything about horses fascinating and I will never know everything there is to know.

My attitude is one of respect and honor of the true nature and beauty of the horse, and my goal is to pass that attitude along to as many students as I can.
