Sparks Marina RV Park

Stayed here traveling through, 1 night. Clean as it gets, level concrete pads with area of AstroTurf and picnic table, not to be used by animals. 3 nice dog runs, easy in and out with 40′ 5^th wheel. Nice people in the front office. Would definitely stay here again!

We will never return but if you are considering it, read the list of rules thoroughly and have anyone traveling with you read the list also because they will also be required to sign and provide driver’s license and email to have the privilege to stay here. Granted rules are typically made because someone has abused something but this is over the top. Example: They will not accept a letter sent to you – only FedX, UPS or mail forwarding services only. If you happen to be closing out an estate and your attorney needs to send you a letter-​too bad. Send it in a FedX box or other. Grandchildren sending you a card-​too bad. Read the rules. Ridiculous.
If you are a Simon Says kinda person-​this is for you.
If you have a very small to mid-​size RV this place is for you.
If you are a larger motor home with trailer to haul your vehicle double check this one.

Perhaps we just ran into a check in crew that is impressed with their authority. We are not difficult to get along with and appreciate customer courtesy but will NEVER be back here. Want friendly – go to a Casino I guess.

Sparks RV park is the best all around! It is VERY CLEAN, staff is awesome, pool is great, and laundry facilities are nice. Very convenient to everything. We will always stay here.

The RV park was very clean along with the restrooms. We called for a reservation month prior with our friends and were assured that we would be right next to each other. On the day of arrival we called and spoke with the office at 4:45 since they close at 5:00…which seemed a little early. Once again the lady confirmed that we were next to our friends. Upon arrival we learned we weren’t next to each other but one spot away. We thought maybe it was a mistake and took the spot right next to theirs thinking they wrote it down wrong on our paperwork and would speak with them in the morning. There were several empty spaces around us. We arrive at the office a little after 9 and boy did we hear it from two of the office ladies. How dare we do that… you have really messed things up… don’t ever do that again… and so on. The manager advised us that we may have to move and she would let us know. We apologized and explained what we were told and she said that do not guarantee being next to others, but we try. Twenty minutes later the facilities manager comes down and is completely rude and yelling to our friends and I come out and say that he can deal with me since I know what is going on. He is angry and rude and starts in again just like the ladies in the office. I finally stop him and explain that I have already heard this and have already apologized and how would he like this to be fixed. He asked us to move to our original site which we did. We have now spent two more night with RVs not in one of the sites by our friends. Basically the management staff are rude that that is why I am only giving them two stars.
Just got new neighbors and they had a run in with the facilities manager too. They got in after midnight and it was 10 and hadn’t checked in yet so he banged on their door yelling at them out that. Too strict. I understand rules but loosen up a little and learn some people skills and customer service.

Modern, fastidiously clean RV Resort. Wide spaces. Terrific swim pool and hot tub. Congenial staff. Close to I-​80. Quiet. Roomy clubhouse and BBQ area. Very well managed.

This is our go to when we are in town visiting my family.
They are nice big spots, perfectly level, dog runs in several corners, w/​Astroturf in replace of grass lawns.

I spent one night at this park and was charged three times for that one night. One of those nights was refunded; the other extra night is still in contention and being handled by Wells Fargo and Visa. In three phone calls, the women I spoke with were courteous and unable to figure out what to do; the fourth call was with the manager who was abrupt and borderline rude.
Aside from the extra charges, I found the park sterile and overly controlled. Special sections exist for people with dogs, signs indicating correct behavior and so on create a very controlled atmosphere that is not pleasant. The WiFi is very poor. The place is one huge parking lot which is apparently what some folks like. I would not recommend the place and of course would never return.

Easy in and out. The highway to Vegas shut down due to high winds. The place is great for overnight, clean, in city, rv parking with all hookups. It’s not «camping» it’s great rv «parking». We walked to
Target, could have watched a movie too. Good accommodations.

The reviews are mostly true. This is the cleanest, best designed RV park you will find. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the best RV park I have ever seen.

My wife and I travel all over the western states in our rv for business. We require little, quiet, level pads, cable is nice, friendliness, reasonable rates, ease of ingress and egress and convenience of location to services. Yes number one is quiet and for a larger city or for anywhere this place is very quiet. All the rest of my list is easy covered here. This is a professionally operated and relaxed place to visit. Stay here and you won’t be sorry!!!

Easy parking, good wifi, clean roads, clean turf and clean bathrooms. Did I say clean? Cleanest RV park I’ve been to so far!

We were here years ago and man were they ever uptight. This time everyone is really nice. Nice and clean. Sites are close together and this was a full weekend. Lil noisy but people are having fun. Only think that drove us crazy is the barking dogs. Everyone had dogs or a dog. Ended up in the RV as, couldn’t handle all the barking. My dog doesn’t do that. But love this park now.

Almost everyone in our family has trailers. They always call up and ask for a place to stay (our front yard is not an option!). When we have guests in town we always recommend the Sparks Marina RV Park. The sites are clean and the folks who oversee the site are nice. The location is close to I-​80 and relatively centrally located in town. This place is a definite recommend!

I would tell you what it was like to stay there, but I can’t because we were essentially turned away.
It was after midnight when we rolled in and we were net by an older man. He told us that the facility had one policy and that was your vehicles had to be clean. He then invited us to go to the self-​car wash so we could be admitted. We kindly declined and spent the night at a truck stop before we crashed from lack of sleep.

We are frequent visitors. Honestly, I really enjoy the facility. Nice dog runs; and love love the astro-​turf spots. Best spots are along the concrete wall. Clean — clean and clean.
Wish list: local rate, fire pits and better wifi. Hopefully the management reads the feedback. That would move you to the five spot.

We camped here for the night to break up a long drive. What a nice campground! The sites are all level and mostly pull through. Lots of high end motorcoaches were parked when we came. It’s that kind of place, It was so easy to hook up. Very clean grounds. Artificial turf only. There is a pool which we unfortunately did not get to use as it was already closed. The bathrooms are one of the nicest I’ve been to. Large and clean!!! The downsides are that you cannot walk your dog on the grounds. Management is pretty strict about it and even late at night, they are watching and telling owners to take their dog in the dog run. No extra charge for dogs but it’s $ 2 per person if more than 2 campers.

Clean, no grass and nice showers. They have «pet only» sites but there is no diff between sites; they have dog runs in each corner and no grass anywhere. Two of the three front desk ladies were nice, one was a nazi. Wifi is poor, not consistent at all and constantly kicks u off.

Clean sites, but the pull through spots are a bit too close to each other. A couple of things to complain about, first of all the Wifi is horrible, second thing the trees on the sites are too low and blocked my satellite dish. This park is quiet and the pool is nice.

Spotless and amazingly clean. Easy check in and out. Great pool. Incredibly friendly staff. Great location and facility. This is one of the nicest RV resort out there.
Regarding linda o’s poor review… this is an example of things gone wrong in America. The facility owes her nothing. She was a «previous guest» by her own definition. Facility services are for CURRENT guests.
Am I the only one tired of people like this?

Traveling on highway 80 on our way to the desert, and we decided to stop on the other side of Reno with a rented RV. The Sparks Marina website is pretty mobile-​device friendly, and they offer after-​hours check-​in.
The after hours check-​in was really easy with everything marked, and the park, while having a few more rules than some, was far cleaner, well maintained, and quiet than most we’ve stayed in before!
The bathrooms were super clean, with ample showers, sinks, and outlets. They have a pool and spa, and separate pet areas.
A great place to stop, we’d definitely go again if we found ourselves renting an RV and in the area!
