Office Depot

Not too sure why all the negative reviews. I was in and out within 5 mins. Maybe it was because I wasn’t looking for something elaborate, who knows. Anyways, I got exactly what I needed and the employees were courteous. The store was organized, well stocked and clean. Unfortunately for this area however, I don’t see them staying in business. So many other places near by closed.

I recently came in here looking for a desk. They have a few crammed together in the back that are so close together you can’t get a good feel for their size. After I got irritated that the desk I liked was not accessible, I decided to walk around and look for a few more things. I started looking for a external USB disc drive. A girl asked me if she could help me find something and I told her what I was looking for. After several times explaining to her that I didn’t want an external hard drive I wanted a disc drive she called someone else over. She sowed me the one that they had, told me the price and then gave me one of the worst sales pitches I’ve ever heard…“we sell quite a few of these and no one has ever complained about them so I assume they are pretty good”. I chuckled to myself and told her thank you. I badly wanted to ask her if she was f’ing joking but I refrained. I now feel bad and realize that with a little sales training she might have worded that differently. I realize it’s probably not her fault, but the lack of training from management or corporate. Anyway the thing was way over priced and was a no name brand so I picked one up from BB. I did notice that they had a good price on Microsoft office 2013 that was about twenty dollars cheaper than anywhere else. The also had some good computer programs for kids that were two for one priced.

he will make a mess of everything and cost you money on return trips! he wasted my time as he was trying to «help» me. he was useless and as slow as molasses in february! got home with a wood file cabinet that was legal size, when we asked for letter size. after paying someone to assemble the cabinet, i wasn’t keen on returning it and not being paid back for the cost of assembly! they charge $ 60 to assemble one!!! bring one back assembled and they compensate you nothing! highway robbery!!!
after this mess, i will clearly never shop there again!!!

Pretty typical office supply store. They have everything you could possibly need and quite a few things you don’t. My visits here have mostly been limited to looking for certain types of paper when I need or want to compare colors and weights in person or don’t want to wait for shipping. The prices seem about average. You can probably find cheaper by searching around online, but you won’t feel ripped off if you end up buying here either. Customer service here is pretty lacking. You’re pretty much left on your own. If you need help, you’ll probably have to flag someone down yourself. There’s hardly ever a crowd in here, so it’s not too difficult to find a staffer.
