You troll my complex looking to hook up cars that are there unloading groceries or boxes. Then when I call you because there is a car parked so close to my front door that I (handicapped by the way) cannot get in and out, your dispatchers don’t seem all that concerned and if you do bother to show up with a tow truck, it is hours later. I am encouraging my property owners association to go with another tow company.

I had a very large, old truck that needed to be moved so it can be restored. It is a very heavy piece of equipment and it had sat in place for several years. Robin, the driver arrived with a tow truck the owner and I did not think could move this truck, but despite facing an unusual and unexpected vehicle, he didn’t make a fuss, and got to work using the old school towing rig to secure the truck. Despite it being a very patina’d vehicle, he treated it as well as if it was a new vehicle, made several steps back in the process to ensure the equipment was all secured and definitely had to do some wrenching getting a lord knows how old u-​joint unhooked so he could secure the driveline correctly for the flat tow. He stopped before we reached the main road to ensure the chains and towing rig was still secure and took a reasonable speed and smooth drive once we were on the main road with the towed truck. He adjusted his rate due to some of the hiccups with equipment and stated so. Very fair price and a professional from start to finish.

This tow company took an hour and a half to get our car, when it shouldn’t have taken more than 15 minutes. So unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Do not use this tow service!

The driver arrived before the scheduled pickup, was great company on the drive to Reno, and was professional and helpful to me. Great experience!

The tow company called us today and told us we had to pay $ 200 for a car that we sold months ago. Because we were the last registered owners the people we sold it to transfer the title into their name but not the registration. Then they abandon it at a automotive shop assuming they couldn’t pay their bill the automotive shop had the tow company pick it up. Why the tow company thought they needed to call us for money I have no idea.

do not use this service!!! put these guys out of business. a bunch of worthless lowlifes that use «state regulations, its just my job, or any excuse they can». scum of the earth, dont know how you sleep at night.

All I can say is they are the best in town! pricing is competitive very professional and friendly drivers there trucks are beautiful they take a lot of pride in there equipment and go above and beyond for there customers!

Milne Towing Services was an EXCELLENT find off Google Maps…Called them up cold turkey and they provided such great service, taking a stressful situation and turning it into a viable solution. FANTASTIC people to do business with, ALL of them. A shout out to the tow truck driver DARRELL. .. He was STELLAR in the recovery of our vehicle and went above and beyond the call of duty in a very professional and courteous manner! Kudos to Darrell! The office staff is very gracious and helpful. .. Sierra, along with the rest of the staff, serviced multiple phone calls from us even after hours and made sure that we knew they were there to assist and accommodate in every way possible.

Straight assholes! That’s all I gotta say! No one should ever go to these guys for any sort of business. They pray on college kids and are the scum of the earth like why 300 bucks for a tow? Makes no sense! I tried to get some money together to pay for them to unhook my car and they left me. They were out for that 300 bucks because they needed the money not because I was illegally parked. We need to make new statutes about how towing trucks can operate in our state, stuff like this is not a good for our society. It really isn’t. its just a scheme to them to get money

My first time using Milne, I locked my keys in my car and needed to get to work. I found them on the internet. The lady in the office was super friendly and said she would have someone out to me within a half hour. A driver named Brian showed up. He was very nice and professional and had me on my way to work in no time. I was very grateful. So needless to say when I was stuck on the side of the road needing a tow, I called Milne. Again, a friendly driver (I can’t remember his name) arrived quickly. He told me to sit in his truck and relax and he would take care of everything. He did just that! Within about 10 minutes we were on our way. The tow was surprisingly affordable and much quicker than I expected! I don’t really understand all the negative reviews on here. In my experience, the ladies in the office are very helpful, the drivers friendly and professional and the prices reasonable. If ever in a jam, I will call Milne. I won’t think twice to recommend Milne to people I care about as well.

Milne towing is horrible. They were given permission to tow my car from my parking space from my HOA. The problem is they broke a window and popped out the number. They of course deny this. Thank god I have pictures if the entire car and am now taking them to small claims court. These people need to be put out if business. Horrible customer service and they will not admit when they are wrong.

Our company has used Milne Towing many times and have never been disappointed in any way. I highly recommend them.

On Tuesday, December 03, 2013 @ approximately 12:00 PM our 18 years old daughter Tierra Tyson was involved in her first automobile accident involving three car’s traveling westbound on interstate 80 roughly 20 miles west of Reno Nevada. At the time of the accident it was a frigid 20 degrees, snowing over one foot while at scene with 20 – 30 MPH winds and.
Due to severe front end damage caused by the accident to her 2004 BMW 325I she called CSAA towing service to rescue her from the scene. A short time later Bob driving a flat bed tow truck from Milne Towing Services had come and loaded her car on his tow truck, after he placed her car on the truck he approached her saying he needed $ 250.00 now or he would impound her car. Being a college student and not having $ 250.00 or a credit card, she called me and had me speak to Bob. I attempted to explain her situation and that if he was demanding $ 250.00 she wasn’t able to pay him then. I explained to Bob that we have coverage with both CSAA insurance policy and also SCAA road service to tow the vehicle at no charge, why would I give him an open ticket to tow the vehicle starting at $ 250.00. I then asked for Bob to leave the vehicle at the scene that we will wait for CSAA that he did not have my consent to tow the car. In a very arrogant tone, Bob said that he didn’t need my permission since he was directed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP)and that he was going to take the car to his shop and impound it and that I would have to deal with his owner.
With that, Bob handed the phone back to Tierra. In the next few minutes, while sorting out what to do, Bob went to his truck and drove off with Tierra’s car leaving her stranded in the elements without any assistance. With that said the person that she had rear ended in the accident offered to give her ride back to Reno.
While she was driving back to Reno, I was able to set up a three way phone call with our insurance company California State Automobile Association (CSAA). While on the phone, they had caught up with Bob the tow truck driver from Milne seeing him parked on the side of the road conversing with CHP and other tow truck drivers.
Shortly after completing the claim, I phoned Milne Towing services to arrange for the car’s release and to express my displeasure over Bob the tow truck driver. After a short time, I was transferred from office staff representative Sierra to her supervisor Bonnie. In talking with Bonnie, I was informed that the car would not be released until a $ 775.00 payment was made. I asked why all the fees, I was informed that there was over 3 ½ hours of towing involved plus additional fees set by the state. Rather surprised of the inflated costs we were being asked to pay, at approximately 1:15 PM I placed another 3-​way call with CSAA insurance claim department and Milne Towing Services representative Bonnie to arrange for payment to be made to Milne Towing Services. After a period of time, we were able to make an arrangement for Milne to call myself once the vehicle had arrived at their location so I could arrange CSAA towing service to make a payment to them and to pick up the vehicle at their tow yard and deliver the vehicle to the repair facility Bill Peirce Body Shop.
At approximately 4:30 PM, I phoned Bill Peirce Body Shop to see if the car was there yet so my daughter could get her school books along with her suitcase of clothes in the trunk, and discovered that it wasn’t there. I then placed a call back to Milne to inquire the status, I soon found out the Bonnie had left for the day and was now dealing with Sierra. Bonnie said that they were not releasing the car since payment had not been made. After explaining to Sierra that we had an arrangement with Bonnie to be notified and that never happened. Sierra said their company policy was with no payment there would be no release of the vehicle. I explained to Sierra that my daughter had to get both clothing and school books inside the car since she had already missed a test today at school as a result of her driver leaving her stranded. Bonnie said that my daughter can come to the facility and pay an afterhours fee along with an additional fee of $ 70.00 to get her things out of the car. I explained that she didn’t have means of transportation since your company had confiscated her car. I then asked Bonnie to speak with a supervisor or someone that could help me sort through the issues, Bonnie said that I would have to call back tomorrow morning.

Came to my rescue within :30 on a Saturday. Wonderful service. Driver went above and beyond. I do have a suggestion for the owners. Consider setting your drivers up to take payments electronically. My driver was only given a handful of credit card slips for his entire day. By the time he helped me he was out. In order to pay him he gracious drove me to my bank after dropping off my car. Square will give you the card swipers and I think you’ll find most people will gladly pay a processing fee for the convenience.

This company was contracted by AAA my insurance carrier. I broke down on the way to Reno on my custom motorcyle. AAA contacted Milne towing which responded in roughly 1 hour which I think is great considering it was the weekend for Street Vibrations motorcycle event. The 2 gentlemen that responded (Unfortunately I am not good with names) were totally professional and friendly. The tow truck was set up to handle a custom motorcycle which can be rather challenging (very expensive). Well down to the point the experience was wonderful and the gentlemen dellivereed my motorcycle to the shop of my choice without a blemish. This company is lucky to have these gentlemen working for them and these gentlemen are lucky to have a company that has great equipment.

My car was towed by milne this weekend and of course, one of the worst experiences of my life. I take full responsibility for parking somewhere I shouldn’t have and getting my car towed. Totally my own fault. The issue is how absolutely awful the poor customer service and lack of professionalism from this company. Again, super rude, kept hearing different prices and hours of operation from different employees, including lots of cursing. Of course I was rude back because i’ve already had an awful experience before, but I assure you it was all instigated by them 100%. Go into a group of people and ask them if they’ve ever had a bad experience with this company, at least one person will have the same story. I’ve heard only awful things. Whoever is in charge here seriously needs to get slapped.

I had an AWFUL experience with these people. They were rude, disrespectful, and overall their business practices are unethical. They towed my car for maybe 2 miles (unbeknownst to me) and when I contacted them to get it back, they charged me $ 300 just for the tow. When I told them that was ridiculous, they were outrageously disrespectful and demeaning and said they «were within state regulations» to charge that much… somethings wrong here… I would NEVER do any kind of business with a company like that. Period.

I can honestly say this is one of the worst business’s in Reno. I was in a car accident over 3 years ago, and i still can’t get over the lack of respect and customer service from Milne towing. My car was towed to their gentry location after it was totalled in an accident, this was the default company the police used. It took over 2 months for them to even let me look at my car, despite the fact I was in the process of moving and had many personal belongings in the car, including school books i needed (and had to re-​buy, since i didn’t have access to my own). The issue was that my name wasn’ t on the title, it was my dads, who doesn’t live in this country. Despite the fact we have the same last name, and sent numerous notarized letters saying I was allowed access to the car, they still wouldn’t allow it because they «couldn’t verify it». To make it worse, they were extremely rude the entire time about everything. We were constantly getting wrong information about business hours and policy, and as much as I hate to bring it up, the type of people working there are seedy, I didn’t trust my car in there lot at all. I would NEVER EVER EVER allow them to be near my car again. They are awful.
