DeMers was my eye doctor when I used to work in Reno and the drive from anywhere in the Reno or Sparks area is worth it to go to this office. Dr. Scott was professional and friendly at every visit, along with the employee that helped with choosing glasses (I cannot remember his name but he wasn’t there at my final appt. before I moved). I was worried about getting contacts and wearing them but they were able to give me helpful advice and tips, and got me the right contact prescription for my eyes. The eye doctor I had seen for years prior to this office ruined my experience wearing contacts, until I went to DeMers. They also have top notch equipment, spacious, well presented patient rooms and a nice selection of frames for everyone. Recommend to anyone looking for a new eye doctor that’s professional and takes the time to work with their patients. 4 stars because the front office ladies were hit and miss. There was an employee that passed her bad day along to the customers at two of my appointments. You should leave your problems at the door when you work in customer service.

I took my autistic grandson to DeMers last week for an eye exam. Not the easiest kid to deal with, but they are sooo kind and sweet. Everybody in the office treated us both so well. If I didn’t already have an optometrist that I really liked, I would go to DeMers in a second!!!

The staff is very friendly and explain everything they’re doing. They have a very modern office and a big selections of glasses! The wait time is always very short and the people who help you pick out frames are very patient!

A great local business! A husband and wife team (have been seen by both) that really seem to care, they listen to me, answer all questions, and I never seemed rushed during the exam. I have been going there for five years and would not go anywhere else…

Demers is our new eye doctor! I had to cancel and re-​set appointments on them three times as a new patient due to scheduling conflicts and they didnt get angry with me once which was my first clue that this was a great place!
I took my kids in to see Dr. Scott and they loved him. My son is actually wearing his contacts instead of glasses and my daughter thought he was great. He is very personable with younger kids and teenagers and seems to actually enjoy them! (He helped my daughter find cool glasses after he checked her vision which he didnt have to do — it seemed he was having fun helping her find just the right ones!).
His staff is very friendly and went out of thier way to answer all of my questions. They are always smiling and happy to help you.
I have been to many eye doctors throughout my 32 years and Dr. Scott is by far the best and the ONLY one that I actually would recommend anyone else going to!

The doctors are well trained, and the glasses selection is awesome.

I moved out of Nevada a few years ago and I still miss Dr Scott. I’ve been wearing glasses for 30 years and he is the best eye doctor I have ever seen. He took the time to actually talk to me about my vision and tell me what I can expect in the future. Everyone in the office is friendly and knowledgeable.
If I could afford to make the trip from Arizona to Nevada once a year to get my eye exams there I would.

Dr. Leslie is THE BEST (sorry Scott :).
I have been visiting her for five years now in which I have an eye disease, which, right out of the gate, required many visits and lens fittings… only a very patient doctor could handle these diseased eyes and Dr. Leslie was right there! For the past two years I have lived in other states and now fly in for my annual visit; I trust no one else with these baby blues.
Personable, knowledgeable and TRULY does what is best for the the patient, Dr. Leslie and Scott are running an EXCEPTIONAL practice.
Don’t go anywhere else. Trust me.

Both Scott and Leslie Demers are great, kind and knowledgeable doctors. Their staff of technicians and their office manager are very professional and courteous in the patients needs.

I saw Dr. McNight (I think that was her name) and she was the one who finally discovered hemorrhaging in my retina. The insurance was a snap, they got me in and out quickly, just overall very impressed. To top it off, they did not pressure me into buying glasses or contacts. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Demers and his family have overseen my optical needs for the past 24 years, and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for my peeper problems. Even though I live in San Francisco now, I still return to this random shopping center in Sparks every two years for an exam. Each one of the bright and professional members of the Demers clan are a pleasure to work with, and I always look forward to my visit.
Every year on my birthday when I receive a card from Dr. Demers in the mail (as each one of his patients does), I’m reminded of how lucky I am to have my most precious sense– astigmatism and all– in such good hands. Whether you’re 2 or 82, I cannot recommend them enough.
