Cutting Edge Window Tinting

I just had my Cadillac windows tinted here and not only do I feel like I got a great deal the owner and his crew were very nice and a pleasure to work with. I left my cell phone in the waiting room and they even put a note on the door to let me know it was there after they closed.

Just got my windows tinted. The customer service was amazing. Very friendly team. They have a waiting area with free drinks, Netflix, and wifi.
I’m very happy with the tint job.
I will update this review in a few months to show the quality of the film.
I purchased the ceramic film. Barely any heat was getting in my car. Didn’t have to run the A/​C as high.

I’ve had work done at this establishment in the past on a previous vehicle I purchased from Reno Toyota and they did an outstanding job. So, as a repeat customer, I decided to take it to them again for a Benz I bought recently.
The staff was incredibly accommodating when I needed to reschedule an appointment from one time to another. The office is clean and inviting. There is a super quiet and comfortable waiting room just to the right with free sodas in a small refrigerator.
They review all the different types of tint with you and are very thorough about it. The pricing is fair and they back their work.
I walked out another very satisfied customer and can’t thank the folks at Cutting Edge enough for doing such a nice, professional job on the car! Thanks, fellas!

It’s a little bit embarrassing; I lived in Las Vegas for 9 years and never got my windows tinted. I just dealt with the blazing sun nearly cancelling out my AC and soldiered on.
Shortly after my move to Reno, I decided it was time. I found these guys here on Unilocal; as you can see, they have a fantastic rating — and it’s well-​deserved.
I called to get an estimate and received a call back within a couple of days; the rep was very friendly, straightforward about pricing, and got me penciled in for an appointment that fit into my schedule.
When the day arrived, they took my car back right away at my appointment time. The waiting room is pretty swanky, as far as waiting rooms go; nice overstuffed leather couches, a mini-​fridge stocked with free soda, and a TV with Netflix to watch while you hang out. Not that you’ll be spending too much time there; I was told that the job would take 2.5 hours; I was out of there in just over one.
The employees there were super nice, and answered all the questions I had to make sure that I got what I wanted. In the end, it’s perfect. There are no bubbles or streaks – the job is really super clean – and it keeps the car so much cooler. Add in that there’s a lifetime guarantee, and I’m set for the rest of the time I have the car.
I highly recommend that you hit these guys up if you need some tint done — don’t suffer under the sun like I did.

Got my windows tinted at cutting edge this morning and they did a bitch’n job! Not to mention my appointment was at 10 and I was out by 10:30! Highly recommend them to anyone ! The guys that work there are extremely nice too!

I just love this place! They have built themselves an nice little tint shop in the biggest little city. This place is all about you the customer… I don’t care witch employee/​owner you talk to the service is the same. Came in today, was early the guy said no problem well get it done now. He introduced himself to me and told me he just started. I would have thought he was part owner he knew the products, was eager to accommodate! I think Gage is a great addition the Cutting Edge family.
For real if you are getting your windows tinted this is the place. The use only the finest film on the market, I assure you there is no better installers than these boys.

Dan was great to work with. He showed up on time to give the estimate for my Mercedes. Reno gets very hot in the summer so window tinting is a must! The estimate was about ten percent less than the other company, and Cutting Edge could get the job done the same week. I was concerned about some bubbling that happened with one of my other vehicles from another company, but Dan put my mind to rest and said if anything happened they would replace the film.

These guys did a great job on my WRX. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a window tinting. Honest people that do the job right!

After being treated rather poorly from another shop in town Cutting Edge was recommended to me by a mechanic friend of mine. I brought my car in for an estimate and made an appointment for today. They did an amazing job and my car looks awesome. The customer service is top notch and the price was comparable to the other place I was going to take my car. I would highly recommend these guys they are fast friendly and value my time as a customer 5 stars !!!

So beyond pleased that I brought our car to Cutting Edge. They were so nice, easy to talk to and I felt comfortable leaving my new car with them. They did a wonderful job on my windows! Plus, they have a really nice waiting room with Netflix and free beverages if you need to wait. I originally had an appt with a place in Carson City but saw that they had several bad reviews. I found Cutting Edge on Unilocal and saw the amazing reviews, so I cancelled my appt with the other place and I cannot tell you how glad I am that I did. This place is #1. I would recommend them to anyone. They are very nice and did a fantastic job!!!

I called these guys last weekend and they indicated someone would come see our home on Monday about estimating home window tinting, but no one showed up. It seems the information never got to the estimator. After calling back, they scheduled a person to come out the next day.
Our estimator (and window film installer) was a nice courteous man named Dan who was thorough and spent as much time as we needed to make a selection from the many samples he had. Dan was informative and had good suggestions. Apparently he has been doing this for a VERY LONG time. The price was right so we told him to order the film.
Within a week, he was back to do the job on some South facing windows and sliding door. FABULOUS job and he finished in a few hours. It’s practically impossible to notice there is any film on the windows which is what we wanted. We chose a light film mainly to cut out the sun’s UV and infrared to prevent damaging the furniture and reduce the heat coming through the window.
Dan is your man for this job. He does things to perfection and no shortcuts. We will be calling him back to do other windows later.

These guys are great. Very personable and professional. We got a good review of the characteristics of the different tinting products available before making a choice.
They were easy to work with on scheduling a date to have it done. They were even able to hold the car a couple days while we were out of town.
The work was meticulously done and the car left immaculately. All this and a very fair price.

Once again the guys over here took care of me. I called this morning to see if or when they could fit me in to add another layer to my back window. When I called they said no problem we will make time for you to bring it in today if you would like. This is customer service people. No we are booked or we already have a lot on the list for today. I got give me a contact number and if we get a spot earlier for you to bring it in then we will call you. Well I got there 15 min early and even though I was early Wayne grabbed my keys moved some cars around and got my Camaro in just like that. Banged out a flawless job in 30 min and again a super happy customer I am. Greg the owner couldn’t be more helpful and friendly to talk to while they worked on the car. He knows window tinting and expects every car to come out perfect. I must add that Wayne goes out of his way to clean up after he tints each window. No water marks on the interior and water runs on the outside of the car. Especially on black paint. Thanks again for a show quality job guys.

I looked at several shops in town and chose Cutting Edge because they not only had the best price on ceramic tint but they were very up front about everything. Scheduled it for 9 a.m. on a Friday and was done in a little over an hour. Great job! Don’t see any flaws anywhere. 35% tint on all sides and rear.

So my wife has been bugging me to get the windows tinted on her 4Runner for awhile now… you know, because she has to look cool and stealthy! I finally decided to surprise her and get them done, but where could I find a reputable place that doesn’t leave it looking like bubbles on the side of a fish tank? Oh I know! I’ll Unilocal it! Right off the bat I found Cutting Edge Window Tinting, and the reviews along with it were pretty stellar. Being the skeptical yet optimistic person that I am (yes I know… that makes sense!), I read all the reviews and then decided to drive on over and see for myself. Kudos to the previous reviewers as they were spot on!
The owner (Greg) met me right when I walked in and I told him what I was looking for. Now mind you my wife wanted to go all out… BUT…there is a certain level of tint you can go and remain legal, at least in Nevada. Greg was kind enough to show me all the different levels as well as finished product on cars in the parking lot. Now the question remains… how Joe Cool (Peanuts reference anyone?) do I want to go. Well the mature self (no really, don’t laugh) got the better of me and went as far as we can go and remain legal in Nevada.
I was able to leave the car there (around 11) and pick it up at 4:30, which I didn’t think was too bad considering I didn’t make an appointment. When I picked it up I was impressed! Not only was it done smoothly, fairly price and with a lifetime warranty, but it looked damn good! OK, so my wife was right… uh…this time! Greg explained the work thoroughly and I felt like I had excellent customer service, and may even come back to do my car as well. I mean after all, I am THAT cool!

My two front windows had old tinting that had peeled off. Cutting Edge fixed them right up and in less than an hour. They are friendly and I felt like they took the time needed to do a good job. The office is clean and they have a nice waiting room where you can watch Netflix or just relax on the couches.

This place got us in and out fast. Tint looks amazing with great prices and people. Watched 2 episodes if the officein their waiting room that has netflix and before you know it my car was done. Free drinks to. Great group of guys. If your in the market for window tint look no further.
We had gone to reno auto sound for tint quote and the guy tried to hit in my wife we took off.

I did a Unilocal search for window tinting and came across these guys. Originally I was going to go with Reno Auto Sound, but a) they had bad reviews and b) when I called they were really rude.
Anyhow I was in a bit of a hurry to get my windows tinted because I was driving around in a fish bowl. The sun really bothered my kids’ eyes. Plus I didn’t like the fact I could never leave anything in my car without risking someone seeing it and breaking in.
When I called, they got me in the same day. Excellent customer service! My boys and I watched Netflix in their waiting room while they were working and my older son helped himself to a complimentary soda from the mini fridge.
I got a 35% in the front because that’s as dark as you can legally go and in the back I got 15%. I also added a 5% strip on the windshield for an additional $ 20. So all in all my total came out to $ 200 even because I also added the lifetime warranty for $ 20. Not bad at all! My car looks like a totally new car :)
If you’re in the market to have your windows tinted, I highly suggest these guys. They do home and business windows too!
