Advanced Powder Coating & Sand Blasting

I would use this company again. I was asked to send pictures to get quote for sandblasting and powder coating. Got quote ($ 704.30) and was told it was higher than what actual cost would most likely be in the end. I was told 3 — 4 days to complete. Well, i call and not ready but will be ready next day and they will call me. Next day no call, i call and they tell me their both is down and needs part but will be fixed next day. Call them and they will call me back when ready, no call back. Call next day and they say it will be ready at 3:45, i tell them can’t pick up today will be in tomorrow morning. Next morning i call to confirm it’s ready and they say it won’t be done till 10:30 (9 days later). I say fine, so what is the final cost? They reply that it was $ 1111.11 but they will discount due to delay$ 911.97. I ask why is not below original quote as stated and they reply it took longer on a couple of items. They would not cut me any discount or honor original quote. I will never do business with this company again. I advise others to stay away.

Over the summer my partner and I acquired a set of vintage steel cabinets that we wanted to use for a kitchen renovation, but they first needed some sprucing up with a new coat of color. We approached Advanced Powder Coating as well as a few other powder coating businesses in the area to get quotes and admittedly, we first went with another company because their quote seemed like the best deal. Our mistake. Over the course of the summer and into the fall our dealings with that company became quite frustrating and once we were ready to pull the trigger they jacked the price up over two times what we were originally quoted with no explanation so we decided to bring our business to Advanced.
We couldn’t be more pleased with their friendly, professional, and prompt service. Everyone we dealt with was great, from the ladies in the office to the guys in the shop, and the owner who greeted us personally, with a handshake and a smile every time. They were able to detail exactly how the grand total was reached, how long it would take for the job to be completed, helped us measure, load, and unload our cabinets, and all at a reasonable price, in a reasonable timeframe.
We can’t show enough appreciation for their help in making our brand new kitchen what it is now. The cabinets are beautiful and the quality of work is evident. We couldn’t be more pleased.

There aren’t very many reviews for powder coaters in Reno so I wanted to make sure I mentioned this one. They were very helpful with my project and I thought the price was reasonable. They managed to finish it in far less time than I was expecting and their cost estimate was right on the money. I couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable place to go for my Powder coating needs.

I am very impressed with this place. I dropped off my strut tower brace late Friday afternoon. Sarita was most helpful in finding a color match for the part bast on the color of my calipers. She promised it would be ready by the following Friday, which I was fine with.
To my surprise, she called me back on Monday and said it was ready to go! The color is a perfect match to other parts on my car. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to have some powder coating done!
