Cons: Last two times I went there I got a chicken dish. STAYAWAY. Tastes like rubber. Seriously. Took it out of the bun on the cockadooldoo to peel it apart to see what was up. Doesn’t work. Makes sense because rubber doesn’t come apart. Something’s not right there. Pros: Buffalo Fries

I had never heard of Cubby’s until my brother-in-law suggested it for lunch this afternoon. The atmosphere had a good vibe, I really enjoyed the music they had playing. It does have a little bit of a hipster vibe to it, which is fine. I ordered the Houdini burger and my husband had the Gypsy burger. We also split an order of sweet potato fries. I really enjoyed my burger, but my husband ordered me a double patty which was too much for me(but that’s on us). However, I wish there was more spread on the bun(can’t remember if it was some kind of aoili or what). Husband said his burger was good, except he found it too messy for his taste, as juices were dripping everywhere. Sweet potato fries were the bomb! They’re crinkle cut and perfectly crispy. Our main reason for docking a star is because of the price. I’m not a fan of A La Carte menus and find it adds up quickly. You’ll be out $ 25 for lunch for two people without batting an eye.

This is our go to place when traveling from salt lake to southern Utah and are looking for quick food in Spanish Fork. The Dragon Slayer burger is delicious and the sweet potato fries are also worth getting. My boyfriend had the tri tip sandwich which is also very good. Their salads look substantial and delicious as well. I would try one of the the next time I visit.

I had high hopes for this new find. I was with the wife and daughter who wanted to go to Five Guys to get a burger but I convinced them to go to Cubbys. Upon walking in I was excited. The place was decorated really well. I liked the look and fill for a fast food restaurant. They had sandwiches, burgers, salads and soup. Since I was in the mood for a burger I ordered the Houdini burger. My wife ordered the buffalo wing salad and my daughter the BBQ stake sandwich along with buffalo bleu cheese and sweet potato fries. Here is how I would rate them: Appearance — 4 Burger — 2 stars: the bun was good but made the burger really dry and as far as I could tell the burger only had mayonnaise on it. So overall the burger was dry and lacking flavor. Stake sandwich — 3.5 to 4: it had bacon and caramelized onions on them. The reason why I’m throwing a 4 on this is because I’d probably buy it again but it’s hard to mess up a BBQ sandwich with good BBQ sauce so nothing too exciting here. Salad — 3: good salad, nothing too fancy. The buffalo chicken tastes like buffalo chicken. With that said, I really wanted to try the beets and goat cheese salad. Lastly the fries — 3: they were good but nothing that screamed«different» or «awesome.» They were at least at par with something you can get at other fast food restaurants. All in all I was happy to give this place a try but I would not go back. The food was just too underwhelming for me.

The tri tip steak salad was gorgeous! It totally blew my mind and it is the one of the«cannot miss» dishes in there!

First off– the aesthetics of this place are amazing. Simple, clean and somewhat whimsical. Secondly– I loved the food. I had Kale + Wild Rice salad. Had a slightly salty taste, more than my liking but wasn’t enough to make me not like it. Had bites of the tri-tip sandwich and it tasted great! Also tried sweet potato fries for the first time which really grew on me! Bottom line– TRYIT!

My husband and I have yet to be disappointed! We go to the Spanish Fork location often on the nights I don’t want to cook dinner. The food is always fresh and full of flavor! We would love it if the Tetonka sandwhich came in a larger size like the Tri-Tip sandwhich does because it’s THATGOOD!!! I could go on and on about how much my husband and I love Cubby’s. But it’s one of those things in life you have to try it for yourself! And for us we will continue to keep going back!!!

Super good food! I love their salads, tri tip sandwiches, sweet potato fries, and buffalo fries. Pretty much anything on the menu is great. High quality and quick service. We go there often for company lunches.

The food? Delicious! The prices? Not my favorite. Husband and I went into Cubby’s this week, as we had never been. I ordered the Tri-tip California, he ordered the Houdini and we split orders of rosemary fries and mac and cheese. My sandwich was amazing and I would definitely order it again! And the fries?! Amazing! I would LOVE an order of them right this second! The mac and cheese was actually really gross. It was dry and not very cheese-y. We were only able to eat it after putting chipotle fry sauce on it. Speaking of, that stuff is delectable! I want to know where I can buy some! Husband didn’t really care for his Houdini, but I tried a bite and thought it was decent. It seemed a little dry, not juicy at all. We will most likely go back, but not very often. The price point for Spanish Fork is really too high, IMO. Like another reviewer stated, you’re looking at about $ 10 just for a sandwich sans fries and a drink.

I ordered the tri tip steak sandwich with the sweet bbq sauce. It was delicious! My husband ordered the Houdini burger and the mixture of the mushrooms and bacon made the taste of the burger amazing! The kids meals came with a lot of food and my son loved the mac and cheese and asked if we could come here every year on his birthday. This was a great place to stop and eat. Very clean and the Rosemary fries not only smell good they taste amazing. The sweet potato fries were excellent also.

Yum! The sliced beef was tender and flavorful. I enjoyed the Hot Mr. Beef but didn’t think it was all that hot. The fries were crisp and well seasoned. The Chipotle Fry Sauce was a particular treat. Service was fast and friendly. Even though it was crowded, the tables rotated nicely as other customers finished.

Fresh food fast! Ate here as we were passing through. Chose it on a whim even though there are 2 other sandwich places next door. We were so happy with our choice. Inexpensive, fast and tasty and way better than any fast food joints. Excellent buns, lots of drink choices, great fry sauce and awesome music playing. Sitting area is all tables & chairs, no booths, a little uninviting, but not bad, especially for lunch. Our kids loved the Mac & cheese and apple juice boxes… so great for kids, too.

Cubbys is great! Prices are a bit higher than other comparable places but the food is organic, fresh, locally sourced and you can taste it. Burgers are awesome! Salads are awesome! I love the dragon slayer and Houdini. My favorite salads are the wild rice and kale, the tri tip and the apple chicken pecan.

I am a first timer at Cubby’s and I am impressed. Quick service and tasty food. I would recommend Cubby’s to anyone. The place was very full and the food was still great. The staff was friendly and efficient. The dining area was clean and the workers kept it that way. My son recommends the Dragonslayer. I had the Tri-tip sandwich. Both were outstanding. I am glad I only ordered one fries. They are huge.

This place caters to both salad lovers and meat lovers and they strive for organic. I had the Kale salad and it was wonderfully large and very delicious down to the last bite. I love this place quick friendly staff even though they were packed to full house capacity.

Two stars. One for clean and professional looking environment and one for decent food.(Tri-tip sandwich) The other three were lost due to how expensive Cubby’s is compared to what you can get around it’s location, the small amount of food that came with the price(6 inch sandwich for $ 8 and no fries or anything?!?) and they messed up on our order.
