This post office is beautifully constructed and the exterior is in pristine condition. It kind of gave of a feel of a time when things were simpler, as is the town of Spangle. This is kind of a review of both the post office and the actual town of Spangle. The town and this post office simply make me proud to be an American. What I mean by this is that I drove into the town ever so slowly behind a huge green wheat harvester taking up basically all the lanes. After I passed the harvester and took my photo of the post office for documentation purposes, I turned and saw the«amber waves of grain» that we all have sung about in the song«America The Beautiful». It was really magical to just stand there in silence and hear the wind rustle the long stalks of pure golden wheat in a wave across the field. Then the sun burst through the clouds and brightened the color and it seemed like the field was pure gold. I kid you not. Very beautiful and a touching moment in my life. Anyway, again this post office is well constructed. There is plenty of parking in front and it’s in the middle of town. The main«strip» is a hugely wide road that appeared to be unlined, so watch out. It’s probably so big because of the big harvesters driving around the town. The people in the post office are very nice and have excellent customer service skills although they’re a little slower than other offices I’ve been to.
