I’ve only had the donuts here… But they are the best donuts I’ve had around here! Yum yum! Glad I read the review about being cash only so I came prepared!

When I lived in Southwick, it was hard to let a few days go by without stopping in here. Best donuts around. Breakfast sandwiches are huge, but too much egg for me. Terrific iced coffee! They actually brew different flavors, whereas places like Starbucks and McDonalds just squirt flavored syrup into your drink. Yuck. Lunch menu is surprisingly extensive. Cold cuts and egg salad are great. Lots of signage touting the award-winning chili though I never tried it. Lines get long on weekends. Cash only, ATM on site. As one of the older staffers always says, Anything else?

Donuts. Mrs Murphy is one of the only places in the area that still makes fresh homemade donuts, and they are the most predictable eat delicious things on the planet. They don’t have a lot of fancy new flavors, but they have some old ones which can’t be replicated. My favorite, the coconut glazed, or my second favorite is the chocolate éclair, or maybe it is the best old fashioned plain donut on the planet, or maybe it is one of the lightest honey dip donuts you could put your fingers on.

Best. Donuts. Ever. Four stars because hey only take cash and their ATM is always out of order. Be sure to get there early. It gets busy. You can smell the donuts cooking from down the street. He are fresh and home made. I never liked donuts until I had Mrs Murphys!

This place is really nice. It’s a totally family run business and it has awesome donuts of every kind and is really large and tasty. The only downside is that it only accepts cash!!!

The best doughnuts of all time… seriously good. Always fresh. Great variety. Fresh made pastry, cookies, coffee and breakfast as well. The prices are great($ 1.10/doughnut)($ 6.05/half dozen) and($ 8.50/dozen). Seating inside for about 35 or so and outdoor seating as well(when it’s warm enough!). The service is fantastic and always friendly. There’s plenty of parking, even on Sundays when there’s a line out the door.

I’ve lived in Agawam my entire 19 years but visited Mrs. Murphy’s for the first time this week. Man, had I been missing out! My boyfriend was craving a fresh cider doughnut and we heard that Mrs. Murphy’s was the place to go. We got an assorted dozen but he ended up loving the glazed apple cider doughnut the most, and my favorite was definitely the glazed chocolate! Best doughnuts I’ve ever had, and they’re so close to home :)

Mrs Murphy’s is legendary throughout the Pioneer Valley and as a salesman will pick up a couple dozen on occasion to bring with me to the central part of the state. I’ve never had a bad donut and couldn’t come close to picking a favorite but the glazed jelly sticks are right up there! The Long John is a supreme combination of flaky pastry with creamy custard filling with awesome chocolate frosting! The one thing that surprises me is that as good as the donuts are good at Mrs Murphy’s, the coffee is the worst! It’s brown water and I’m glad that DD’s is just down the street.

Stopped in for the first time the other day had a cup of coffee, pastry and doughnut, all were delicious. The prices were fair and there was plenty of seating, the people behind the counter were friendly and helpful.

Not bad, but I’m spoiled by Neil’s in Wallingford. Service wasn’t exactly friendly and I found the different pricing on types of donuts off-puting but the donuts are delish. A nice treat every now and again.

My friend and I were driving up to Blandford ski area when we passed by this donut place. He noted off-hand«oh — that donut place must be good if they’ve survived next to a dunkin donuts». There was a moment of silence as we passed by the store and drove a bit down the road. Then«do you wanna go?», «HELLYEAH», and we swerved into the next plaza to turn around. It was cash only. There was a line. People were nice. The gentleman in front of me made a few recommendations and basically said you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. I forgot what the donut was called, but ITWAS A PILLOW. Sooooo light and fluffy and delicious. I was sad that I would have to pay extra for the bavarian cream so I didn’t get it even though that type is my favorite(as in, it couldn’t be included in the dozen). Overall, great donuts and service.

Donuts are massive! Got the chocolate glazed and it tasted amazing. Went in the afternoon and they still had a huge selection of donuts left. They even had seating on the inside and it looked like a great place to have brunch. I would definitely go back! Even after months of visiting other donut shops, Mrs. Murphy’s is still my absolute favorite! The jelly sticks are to die for!

OMG — the best apple fritters on Earth. The donuts are great!(But the coffee sucks; be sure to hit Dunkin Donuts for that on the way over.) It’s crowded. So, take them to go. There is a line out the door on weekend mornings. So suck it up and leave early. It’s worth it.

I’m not a donut person but these diet busting Mrs Murphy donuts are the ones that I want when I do want one. I stopped by there 2 Saturdays after Weight Watchers(yes!) and bought ½ a dozen. As always they were fresh and delicious. True Bakery Shop cake style donuts. I have a few hidden in my freezer. Worth the drive to get one!

When you want a donut for dinner, I guess this is your place… I don’t think I’ve ever held a donut so heavy for its size. Indeed, Mrs. Murphy’s are extremely dense — perhaps twice the mass of your typical Dunkin’ specimen — and absolutely loaded with Vitamins C, G, and S… Cholesterol, Grease, and Sugar to you folks not up on the nutritional standards for baked goods. Honestly though, that donut was so big, I could only eat half. It was good, and to reiterate, very, very rich. More like a ring-shaped and deep-fried cake than what I usually imagine a donut to be. Well, to each their own. As the first line of this Unilocal suggests, a Mrs. Murphy’s donut is not a light breakfast, it’s a meal. And if donuts aren’t your thing, they make other stuff too.

In a land filled with Dunkin Donuts places on every corner, in the airport, and any place you might imagine, Mrs. Murphy’s Donuts stands out as a beacon of great food. No, the donuts are no healthier than anyone else’s, but did you expect something different? Large, sugary, and varied in their appearance, these donuts give you that sugar rush as well as tasting, well, great. A box of fresh donuts makes for a good start to the day. These are large pastries that you easily cut in half and be happy. But of course you would not do that — after all, a full donut will make you happier. I recommend stopping here if you are near Hartford or Springfield and leave the chain places for someone else.
