We are a full service Medical Day Spa and Salon that offers a full array of services including nail treatments, facials, advanced skincare treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermablading and micro needling. We also offer waxing, massages, laser hair removal, IPL Photo Facial, laser slimming services, body wraps and salon services such as highlights, coloring, keratin treatments, ombré, balayage, haircuts, styling and more. We offer individual treatments as well as a variety of spa packages to those desiring a day of beauty and relaxation. We can also accommodate couples, bridal parties, corporate outings and more.

We are, simply put, three people who believe in wellness.​We believe that your body is a vessel in this lifetime and in order to live fully, you must take care of it.

Our spa is about finding the time to nurture. We offer services designed with that in mind; services such as massage therapy which, since ancient times, has been proven to help the body relax and renew. We also offer aesthetic services such as essential facials to microdermabrasion, which uses state of the art equipment to aid in the process of refreshing your skin. Our spa carries state of the art lasers and they are kept current with the latest trends and effectiveness within the industry.

From the top of your head (with up to date styling), to the tips of your toes (with spa pedicures), the body is a unique system that requires care. The key is finding the time and the desire to make caring for your body a priority in your life. We take special care to reward you for choosing us.

I wanted to love this place because everyone was so nice and it was a clean spa. I had a Groupon for the Moroccan oil manicure and pedicure. The young lady who did my mani-​pedi was very nice and did a good job of making me feel relaxed. My complaint is that I only had my nails done 2 days ago and three of my finger nails already have huge chips on them. I’m not rough with my hands at all so I found this very inconvenient. The price was decent for the Groupon, but I could have done everything they did myself and had polish that lasted longer than two days.

I had a pedicure and manicure last week with my mom and this ranks up with one of the worst pedicures I have ever had. The lady who took care of my mom talked so much that we couldn’t actually visit. She had on such a low cut, inappropriate top that her cleavage was pouring out. She talked constantly about how great their product was and how their body polish was so much better than sugar scrubs because it doesn’t cut your skin, etc. I will admit that I do have sensitive skin but within an hour of leaving my legs felt like I had tiny scratches all over that stung like crazy! I wasn’t my legs when I got home but the next morning I was covered in red irritated bumps… doesn’t cut the skin???
The lady who took care of me really did a hack job on my cuticles. They’re a disaster. Maybe because she was paying more attention to the other girl talking than she was my fingers. My toenail polish chipped after 4 days. And they both spent a solid 20 min complaining to use about getting the wrong nail polish remover in and how much they hated it… while using it to remove my toenail polish. The staff at the front had the personality of a pile of bricks. For the prices they expect you to pay, I would also expect top notch professionals.

Overall I like this place. I’ve come here 90% of the time I’ve gotten my hair cut since we moved to Texas. It really depends on who you book to do your hair…
I really like how you can book appointments online and sometimes they have Groupons, but still… I never leave this place paying under $ 100. It’s always between $ 100 – 250. Pretty expensive, I usually get highlights or some sort of color done though.
Reason it’s not 5 stars is because they don’t let you know if something costs more. One time I had a girl who literally BEGGED to curl my hair when she was done cutting and coloring it…“It’ll look soooo pretty!” I’m a stay at home mom who wasn’t going anywhere so it’s not like I needed it styled but I said «ok, if you really want to.» I thought maybe she wanted practice curling hair or something. Little did I know that was a $ 20 extra charge. I was pretty pissed. Extra colors cost more too even if it’s only a couple strands. But I digress, it’s Southlake– people have money here so it probably isn’t a problem for them.
The most recent time I went I booked Lea, a delightful woman from England. I liked her attitude and she worked a miracle and got rid of the very light ombré color in my hair and «putting the goodness» back in my hair, fixing the dryness and the layers (or lack of)! My hair hasn’t looked this good in ages! Very satisfied! She was quick and did a fab job. Lea gets 5 stars!

My hair looks fabulous thanks to Angela! I believe she just started (few weeks ago) so when you call ask for her. She can do nails, hair, etc but I can attest only to my haircut and blow dry. She was very thorough and took her time to make sure my long layers came out even! I really felt great leaving the salon.
They do have s $ 15 up charge on the groupon voucher for longer hair. My hair which only 1 inch removed is considered longer. I would pay for full price hair service to get this quality!

I had purchased a deal through groupon for an all over color, Moroccan oil conditioning treatment and cut and it was well worth it! Jennifer is a rockstar and I will absolutely be back! I came in with horribly damaged hair from another salon and Jennifer helped get it back to looking and feeling better. She took the time to talk to me to find out exactly what I wanted and gave great suggestions and recommendations to get my hair to be back to its full potential! I am so happy that I found this place and her and will absolutely be back! I can’t imagine going anywhere else. The front desk staff is wonderful as well. The entire spa felt so warm and welcoming. Love love love Spa on the Square!

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, get waxed here. It was without question the worst waxing experience of my life, and I have 10+ years of waxing experience.
I won’t even go into the unprofessional treatment I received, because the fact that both waxes were completely ineffective, i.e., 75% of the hair is still there, coupled with the fact that I now have a rash on my face, is enough.
When you add that to the fact that the services are ridiculously overpriced, it was so regrettable. I only went because I had a gift card, but now I have to go elsewhere to pay for the same thing again since it didn’t even get the job done. That is, after the rash on my face heals.
This is the first time I’ve ever taken the time to post a Unilocal review, but that’s how infuriating this experience was to me. It’s too late for me, but save yourselves. Go elsewhere.

Came in cuz I bought a Groupon for a mani/​pedi. I’ve seen the sign for the Spa but didn’t know it was upstairs. Star Williams did my mani with my super shiny buff, my favorite way, and I can see myself in my fingernails! Then moved on to my pedi and it was super nice and super relaxing. Absolutely coming back and will absolutely ask for Star.

It’s an amazing thing when you go and get your hair cut and don’t have to take the scissors out when you get home to fix the mess that is your hair! Got a groupon for Spa On The Square and totally lucked out when I got an appointment with Jennifer Myers! She was so personable and did an awesome job with my hair! Now I’m rocking my side bang once again! Will definitely be going back! :)

I had my hair cut and colored by Jennifer and she is the best! The color came out just like I wanted and I brought a picture of the hair I wanted and it turned out perfect. She is super nice and easy to talk to. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Jennifer to all my friends. Price was reasonable as well.

Jenny Myres does a great job! She used «scissors over comb» but cut my hair «damp» — not «wet» like every other stylist I’ve ever used. The result was a better looking cut, that works with my natural hair lines.

This spa is amazing. Professional, friendly, warm, inviting, and always leaving feeling like a Movie Star. Greeted by beautiful smiling faces, you are escorted to tranquil waiting area away from the front door bustling and able to relax before your treatment. I am always amazed at the level of excellence and star treatment you receive. All the technicians or beautifying professionals are great, but my favorite to see is Star. I got a groupon for hair ct and moroccan oil treatment or something. So I made appointment for 1:15 and didn’t get in until 215. The hairstylist sondra was not too apologetic and instead said «sometimes thing just out of your control «yeah right, 1hour late? Lack of professionalism. Then she finally got me in, the shampoo /​Moroccan oil treatment was just a regular shampooing to me. And then I told her I want bob with side bangs and a lot of layers, she just gave me a regular bob cut with long layer. But when I told her I didn’t like the cut and I want more layers, she just went quiet and I could tell she was pissed because she yanked my hair and just keep cutting and literally bite her lips. She probably wanted to say something badly to me but she can’t. I was being sarcastic and said sorry for being a bitch, and even gave her tips. Which I shouldn’t. I would never go back there. I thought groupon was a great way for business to gain client but how are you gonna do that when they treat the client like shit.

Visiting Dallas with my boyfriend and I got tired of hanging out in the hotel room. Started walking around and found this little sign stating ‘SPA ON THE SQUARE’. This establishment is tucked away down in the back and up the stairs/​elevator (2nd floor). As they say little hidden gems are usually tucked away… So, said to myself what the hell lets go and check it out. So, went in and up the elevator and into the spa, there where 2 women at the desk happily greeted me and ask if they could help me. I asked for a menu of services and it just so happens they ran out and out to the printer and soon to come in… what a bummer. So, I just asked how much is a deep tissue, and how long it was. She told me. I then asked her — which I knew it was a long shot if they had an opening today… and well they actually had one right then and there. I was so shocked, I knew this day can only get better. So, I was like sign me up.
Found out I was going to have Katie and once she took me in she asked me what I needed to get worked upon and we got started. I have had many massages in my past and I do have to say she is good. She got spots that others have not. I found myself really not that sore afterwards or days later. Katie is professional.
I found ‘SPA ON THE SQUARE’ a very cute, quaint, clean, professional, pleasant, enjoyable establishment. If I lived in Dallas, Tx I would definitely become their regular customers.
One thing they dont have is a membership program which I strongly hope they can reconsider and add it on to there menu of services.

I received a Groupon from my hubby for a keratin treatment with haircut. My stylist seemed rushed, as if their regular clientele was kept waiting because of my service. I’m happy with the cut but feel the keratin treatment was rushed. I guess if you book an appt and have a Groupon, hope that you get booked with a stylist that isn’t trying to get you out the door as fast as they can.

I called the salon prior to purchasing a groupon and asked if I could swap 10 foil highlights (which I was told cost $ 20 when added to the all over hair color) instead of the haircut ($ 50), they said I could do that so I bought the groupon made the apt. Then when I showed up I was told they couldn’t do that and it would still be an extra $ 20 even if I didn’t get the cut! Very poor customer service. I guess they preferred not to have a new customer and not make any money for the apt. I left.

IPL PHOTOFACIALS
I purchased two IPL photofacial sessions thru Groupon. I never had the photofacial before, so didn’t have a clue about how it supposed to go. I really like the atmosphere; it was relaxing. Lori was the technician. She explained the procedure thoroughly. Since it was my first time having the procedure, it made me feel less anxious. However, even though she said that she would go thru the whole face (laser the whole face), she only did one shot on each side of my cheek, and two on my forehead, and one around the mouth area. Since it was my first time, I thought that’s the way it is. I did not see much results.
I went back the second time for my second treatment. Lori was still the technician. This time she gave me more shots on my cheeks (she actually went thru the whole face this time). However, I still didn’t see much results. Lori suggested me to purchase more treatments if I wanted to see the best results. After the two treatments with Spa on the Square, I went to another place for IPL Photofacial. For the new place, they do two rounds of shots for the whole face in one treatment in order to see the best results. I feel like I was being robbed on treatment with Spa on the Square. They are very stingy on treatments, and just asked you to go purchase more treatments. If they were honest about their treatment, I would have problems purchasing more services with them. I wouldn’t go back, and wouldn’t want to try their other services, either.

Eyelash Extensions
BOTTOM LINE: Do your research before you even make an appointment. You’ll probably end up bypassing this place and going to a place that specifically does lash extensions (or at least find a skilled technician). Maybe it was just an inferior product or maybe it was the technician… it was my first time getting extensions so I do not have a benchmark for comparison.
I always wore lash strips so I did not share my technician’s excitement when she finished my initial appointment. I actually thought the lash strips looked better but the convenience of not having to glue them on every day was enticing.
I saw Marcia 4 times after my initial appointment (mind you, 4x in a 6 week span). My best friend got extensions in another city and hers were intact for a good 6 weeks without going back to that technician during that time. They truly looked as fabulous as they did the day she got them! That’s when I felt bamboozled whereas mine were looking unfortunate.
Marcia (Mar-​see-​ah) is nice enough I guess, but I will not be returning to her to do my eyelash extensions. It was nice having a Groupon but the fact that she said, «I love when my first timers actually come back!» does not sit well and that should have been my cue to not return.
She was also very (semi-​aggressively) adamant about me getting a lash growing serum after just a few weeks because she most likely improperly installed my extensions and my natural lashes were falling out a lot faster than they should have. When I returned 3 weeks later, she was clearly angry (for lack of better term) at me for NOT purchasing the growth serum. After that appointment, she didn’t remind me to make a fill appt… just coldly walked away like, «this isn’t my problem anymore» (or at least that’s how I felt); needless to say, I have not and will not return.
Again, DO YOUR RESEARCH! A skilled technician will not put the faux lashes on your skin, nor will they put more than one faux lash on a real lash… that’s when your natural lashes begin to fall out :(

«Wonderful experience. My mom, sister and I went and got pedicures for my mom’s birthday. The owner heard it was her bday and brought us a bottle of wine. The women doing our nails were very social without being invasive or making us feel like we had to make awkward small talk. I will go back, and will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing pedicure.

I had the lemon grass scrub and massage (it was a good massage) which was supposed to be 90 minutes. However, it was only 60 minutes. I asked the receptionist why was it 60 minutes she said she did not know but would take $ 10 off the price. I thought that was nice but I probably would not be back because I don’t like to be short changed on the time of my service or be checking my watch to make sure I am getting my full time. The spa is located in a building off the square. Its a decent size suite.
This would be a higher review if the time thing had not happened and I had to point it out to them. Not sure if is is a common occurrence but it was disappointing.
