Stopped in to try their new Bonafide chicken tender meal for $ 5:00 and it was pretty good to me and my wife. Would try it again if still around. Counter help was a little tough. To understand though.

It seems that many others have issues with this place, but we never have. I like that I can get a side of green beans for my kids’ lunch instead of fries. I personally love their chicken — crunchy and yummy, and I almost always get an extra piece, which is nice. The place is a little sketch looking, I must admit, and I’ve never actually been INSIDE, so cleanliness may be an issue. But I’ve always gotten fast service at the window, and my order has always been right. Oh, and they don’t skimp on the dipping sauces, which is refreshing.

AWFUL !!! I have never had one good experience here. Read this to the end. You will be amazed ! Once you place your order you pull to the window and it takes them forever to come to their window. Then they are not polite and not pleasant. They used to have a survey on the back of the receipt. If you take the survey you can get a code and turn it in for a two piece and biscuit meal. I did the survey but they refused to honor it. I asked to speak to the manager and she refused also so I called the 800 # to let them know. They did not want to be bothered even talking to me about it. Then a couple weeks later my friend was craving chicken so we went there(even though I had already had enough of their bad service). We ordered chicken strips to share ANDTHEREWEREMAGGOTSCRAWLINGALLOVERTHEINSIDEOFTHEBOX. We were livid. I again called the 800 number and left messages with the representative, over and over. I was told I would have to speak to a supervisor who would call me back.(there was never one available). After a couple of days had gone by I started calling every day — for 4 weeks ! and never got a call back. I will never go there again. THEWORSTSERVICEEVER !

Terrible service. Waited 10 for nuggets and never brought them out. Had to ask for a refund, staff seemed surprised that I would ask for my money back. So first and last time I choose this place for a quick snack. Terrible service and easy to see why this place will soon be out o business.

Service horrible… went Sunday night to get meal for family. At seven pm, they had no shrimp, no tenders and the drink machine was broken. Was told had to pay full price for meal, even if we couldn’t have the beverages. CLERKWASRUDE. Needless to say, I left and went down the road to KFC. if you’re from the downriver area, go to the ine in taylor on Telegraph instead. Service not much better, but they usually have food…

I don’t mean to be a nitpicker, BUT…(isn’t that what people usually say before they nitpick something??) I went to this Popeye’s yesterday because my family wanted something different from KFC. I pulled up to the speaker and sat. I even had time to call and make more specific order arrangements with my household since I was sitting right at the speaker. Ironically enough, there was an employee outside at their outside cooler or whatever… he and I caught eye contact a couple of times and finally, I asked if he’d let his co-workers know I was sitting here. He agreed. So, someone yelled for him to tell me to pull around to the window. When I got there, I got an apology and the explanation that the young lady’s headset battery went dead. So, i gave my order. A different young lady gave me my total and collected my money(my card) and handed me the food. I asked that young lady if hot peppers came with the food. She said no and told me they were 6 for $ 1.59 and 1 for 31 cents… then she disappeared from the window. I sat there a bit, then blew the horn for someone to return. i asked for a hot pepper and she asked for the 31 cents… which I had in my hand and was ready to put in the drive thru slide out cup. But I just figured that after the whole«having to wait» thing, I could at least get a «here’s your pepper, sorry for the wait» or something. I didn’t think the closing was geared towards customer service at all.
