When you mention a dank and dirty, anything goes place in the Downriver area, Henry’s immediately comes to mind. There’s nothing upscale about this place. The only reason anyone would come here instead of some of the other clubs, like Subi’s or Hustler, is because the rules are very lenient at Henry’s. You can also save a few bucks by coming here. If you pay the $ 5 cover charge, two drink minimum, and maybe throw out a few dollars, you can get out with spending around $ 20 if you wanted.
However, if you have extra cash, the strippers pretty much turn into prostitutes if you pay your way into the backroom. My friend once received a service for $ 60; I was told by another friend that the «full service» would’ve been in the range of $ 300. It’s not a secret. It’s common knowledge to stripclub patrons in the area that Henry’s in a dirty place where money talks.
The strippers are typically of low quality, although there are a few exceptions. Last time we went, we were met with an unpleasant array of dancers. One woman appeared to be in her mid-​40s, completely untoned, and missing a tooth in the front. Another younger girl was fantastically flat chested and beanpole skinny. The only hot dancer was being used up by another group. That night, we left fairly early and went elsewhere for some quality entertainment.

This place is a dive. $ 5 cover charge. They do not serve food (I heard from a waitress they can’t get approval) but they do have a vending machine and a microwave behind the bar. The customers were mostly older white men. The Southgate area is pretty nice.
You have to pay $ 10 for a wristband to enter the VIP area. The dancers here are pretty ugly but this club is cheaper and better value than most other strip clubs in the detroit area.
