Meet the Business Owner

Steve Matz and Sam Pietsch P. C.

Business Owner

Steven J. Matz’s concentration is in motor vehicle law, with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury. He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high distinction and highest honors. In 1977, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University National Law Center.

Samuel Pietsch has been practicing law with Steven J. Matz since 1988. He earned his law degree from Wayne State University in 1979 after earning a Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 1975 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree two years earlier, also from Michigan.

Both Steve and Sam have been rated AV preeminent (highest rating possible) by Matindale – Hubbell and have been named Super Lawyers by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine, a distinction given to the top 5% of lawyers in the state.
