Social Security Disability and SSI are ALL WE DO!
History
Established in 1976.
The Law Center for Social Security Rights is a service of Weisberg & Walkon, P.C., which was founded in 1976. We practice pursuant to our mission statement: Dedicated to protecting the Social Security and SSI rights of disabled adults and children.
Our entire practice is devoted exclusively to Social Security and SSI. Indeed, we are one of the largest law firms in Michigan that limits its practice to this one specialty. Our office consists of seven attorneys and additional support staff who are all trained and experienced in Social Security matters.
The Law Center for Social Security Rights was created because of the intimidating process faced by those seriously disabled seeking aid through the Social Security system. We decided to implement an advocacy program, catered for the disabled, and carefully designed to relieve the overwhelming burden many associate with just applying. The mission is to provide effective, full service attorney representation at all levels of the process. Ou
Meet the Business Owner
Clifford B. W.
Business Owner
Clifford B. Walkon
Principal Partner, has been responsible for the transition of the firm to one devoted exclusively to Social Security Disability law. He has been in practice since 1977, and oversees the work product of our support staff along with maintaining a very busy caseload. Indeed, Mr. Walkon has probably handled as many hearings as any other attorney in the state. He has also given presentations in seminars as well as to various organizations. Because of his diverse legal background before devoting his practice exclusively to Social Security Disability law, he brings an effective and unique style of advocacy that has proven successful over the years. He is known for his thorough development of the medical record, as well as his concentration on detail. His ability to articulate his client’s case in a manner most favorable to the client is well respected by his peers and the administrative law judge alike.
