Grecian Corner Coney Island

Grecian Corner Coney is probably a bit better than some of the other innumerable Coney Island places in town. I prefer this one to the Leo’s at 9 Mile and Greenfield whose food has featured short, curly hair as an added protein bonus.
Frequently, we have their food delivered into one of the places where I work. Typically, I order from the breakfast menu. I have had a decent Coney dog from the place. The salads are fine. Their portions are quite large in many cases. Most importantly, they deliver.
My favorite things to get are the pork chops and eggs and the chicken breast and eggs. Both satisfy my protein craving. The chicken is nicely seasoned with herbs and spices. Likewise, the pork chops are well-​seasoned. I usually don’t get the hash browns or toast, because I’m more of a protein eater than anything else. Plus, that helps me keep the portion size reasonable.
Being a transplant to the area and not a native Metro Detroiter, I can’t really see what makes one Coney place better than another except for proximity and a lack of pubic hair in the food.
