Good daily specials, with decent food. The service needs some improvement, but happy hour is a must. They even do happy hour for carry out too.

I can’t believe the bouncer Carmine but his hands on my friend and the short guy Sean was scared to even say his name — they are not men, they are a disgrace. Unbelievable how they treat people and like I said I cannot believe a man would lay his hands on a woman disrespectfully and abusively!

So I’ve been to bar 7 numerous times. It is always busy so that’s a given. Daytime has better service hands down. Drinks: during happy hour there are real bartenders there. Amazing long beach/islands and margarita If you go at night, you may get a model instead. Hunny the drinks during the night shift suck so badly. I’ve been on 4 nights each time I was disappointed. The service during the night is very unwelcoming. I went with a female friend and wanted to buy a couple of drinks to celebrate her recent graduation. We were ignored even after trying to get the bar person(not a bartender’s attention) when we finally got her attention, the drinks were a step up from vitamin water. No favor. The atmosphere at this place isn’t really the business for me. Food: the pizza is decent, Cajun chicken pasta was spicy but the chicken wasn’t seasoned to perfection. It was pretty bland. The wings are good. I only come here when my friends force me.

This is a definite«MEH». We came here because I have an AMEX Dining Rewards account and we’re saving hardcore for a trip. So yay for triple miles on this visit, right? NO. You are sorely mistaken. Drinks(water and iced tea) took forever to come to the table. We were on our lunch from work, so no drinking allowed. My boyfriend ordered fish and chips but they only gave him a tiny bit of tarter sauce– I mean like a tablespoon. Come on! I had a wrap, which was decent enough. But she never checked on us after bringing our food so we could get refills or more sauce, and the service was so slow overall that we were dashing to get back to work in time.

As others reviewers have stated this place is ALWAYSBUSYANDLOUD! Definitely not a place to catch up with friends over dinner and drinks. It is more of a club atmosphere. That being said, they have a really good personal size pizza for $ 5. Will I ever dine in… no…but they are a definite go to spot for carry out when I’m in the mood for pizza.

Good food! The steak quesadillas were seasoned perfectly! Seat yourself sports bar with good music too. Sorta small on the inside, but good for small groups or just a solo drink during happy hour!

It’s a good happy hour place, for small groups– it’s small inside. Yes it’s loud but it’s a bar. I’ll still to the beer and $ 5 pizza– both are perfect– I thought my liquor drinks were weak. $ 8 baileys with Irish whiskey was weak– I would return for a quick happy hour.

****DISCLAIMER**** The following review is actually for 7 Auto Sales & Repair which is owned by the same person that owns this place(which I have been nor will ever go to now). I cannot fine 7(or Seven) Auto Repair & Sales on Unilocal. But if they run the restaurant anything like they run the shop… watch out. If I could leave not one single star — I would. I came here over the summer a couple times based on a community review. She said they were fair priced and good. Being a single mom of 5 on a limited budget, fair priced was what I needed. I would soon learn fair priced meant cheap work. First I had my brakes done. The light keeps going off every 3 miles to tell me I need service. At first I thought they just didn’t reset the light and let it go. About a month later, my battery die. Since this was summer and I hadn’t left anything on, I thought this was odd. I took it back to them to have the battery and alternator checked. They said both were fine. When I needed my radiator replaced, I again went to Seven Auto. The mechanic did tell me that the core support had rust to the point where the radiator could no longer be attached. The mechanic then said he would affix the radiator to my vehicle using an alternative method of support. Now, my knowledge of auto mechanics is extremely limited. I never even thought to look and see how the mechanic affixed the radiator to ensure it had support. Fast forward 3 months later… My brakes have had to be repaired again. The battery did need replacing. And the method this crack auto«mechanic» used to affix my radiator? WIRE! He put wire through the fins(new term I just learned) of the radiator so it made like this neat little saw that created a HUGEGAPINGHOLE in my radiator. So now the radiator needs to be fixed again and they want to charge me for them actually affixing the radiator like they should have the first time! Had this been done the first time — I would have gladly paid for it. Now to correct their mistake I don’t feel as if I should pay for someone else’s shoddy work! But I’m stuck. I can’t just dump this car as I’m still paying on it. I can’t just run out and buy another one because I think I mentioned the single mom of 5 on a budget thing… I’ll end up having to pay for it. But heed my warning — DONOTEVERBUY A CARORTAKEYOURCARHEREFORREPAIRS! YOUWILLREGRETTHISWITHEVERYFIBEROFYOURBEING!

awful service and mediocre food. we actually had decent service at the bar once we sat down, but we sat at a table for 15 minutes or so without being acknowledged at all before making the move. wings, breaded and the hot is more vinegar than anything. burger was«ok.» overcooked of course but the bun was nice and the veggies were reasonably fresh. we sent the pizza back. I think it’s cooked on a cookie sheet. soggy droopy crust. now the place was very cheap at happy hour, but the value isn’t there. also, this place is LOUD! it was pretty full and everyone seemed to be trying to speak over the music which was at an inappropriate volume for 600pm. dining options outside of fast or fast casual(of which there are many) in this area are sparse, but trust me that there is no reason to come here. I’d rate 1 star but it was almost cheaper than eating at home and the place seems to be very popular for what it is, if you’re into it.

The food is decent, especially if you go on Sunday or Monday, which are half off pizza and wings. Their pizza is pretty darn good, and their wings are pretty good. I haven’t sampled the rest of the menu, and the entrées are pretty pricey for a sports bar. Here’s the thing. Don’t expect to hear anyone you go with. This place is LOUD and often very crowded. It’s small. The service is pretty mediocre with a couple waitresses in short shorts. It’s very close to me, but I very rarely go, and there isn’t much choice in Southfield. Did I mention it was LOUD?

For a Bar/Grill I give Bar 7 a 4 star. I went there with some co workers for lunch. As soon as we sat down we had a waitress at our table within minutes taking our drink order. We ordered their BBQ Chicken Pizza and it was very good. Overall the atmosphere is casual and every seat is a good seat to watch a game since there are over 7 big screen TVs through out the bar. I will be back for food and drinks again.

I’ve only visited during happy hour but I’ve loved the service except for the last time. The server was fine at first but she started to appear agitated when we asked her questions. Cutting us off and rushing our requests. And that’s when we could get her attention to come back. Water was never refilled, I had to resort to drinking someone else’s at my table. On the plus side, their happy hour menu includes half off pizza and the pizza is amazing! Fresh crust, delicious seasonings, fresh meat, etc.

After having eaten here a couple of times, thanks to a 2-burgers, 2-beers Groupon deal, it’s probably time share the experience: Yes, this place is loud, it’s a sports bar! Yes, it is a seat-yourself place. Yes, it’s ALWAYS busy(that’s good!) Yes, the burgers and draught are better than expected. I think they have the best burgers in the area. Meat is fresh and it’s cooked to your liking. They’re not skimpy on the size, either. A very healthy size portion, excellent meat-to-toppings ratio and the accompanying fries are really delicious. I’ve frequented other establishments that are«best burger» places and 7 Bar really is much better in my opinion. I haven’t tried any other fare yet but plan to in the future. If it helps, I’ve seen dishes brought to neighboring tables and they equally look bountiful and yummy. The staff was very friendly during each experience. I really recommend you give them a try if you haven’t yet. If it’s really busy and you have to wait a few extra minutes for your food, bring your patience with you. It’s worth the wait. Besides, you can always watch a game.

My husband and I had a bad experience here. We sat ourselves, as the sign suggested, and waited for service. For ever. We even stayed a little longer at the table and searched for other places to go nearby, but that didn’t afford the waitstaff enough time to greet us and take a drink order. As we got up to leave, a waitress finally came around and walked right by us to take a drink order for a table who just sat down. No one ever spoke to us the whole time we were there.

i visited this bar on a busy Friday after work. the bar was pretty packed, and it was seat yourself so seats were pretty scarce. this place offers awesome happy hour deals from $ 5 wings, $ 5 martinis and plenty more! i opted for the strawberry martini. normally when drinks are on special they are watered down, however these drinks were very strong! i was not disappointed. my friend ordered wings and they were amazing! very crispy, and cooked to perfection. their fries are good as well! i will be back to check this place out again!

I screwed-up. I bought a $ 13 Groupon for 7 Bar & Grill, thinking it was for the(olde) ‘7’ steakhouse on the SW corner of Maple & Orchard Lake which is now Prime 29. Doh! The Groupon offered a burger, fries & beer for two for $ 13. It’s a reasonable deal, not a great deal. 7 Bar & Grill is located on the NW corner of 12 Mile & Telegraph, in the same strip mall as Five Guys and Pot Belly. It is primarily a sports bar, w/DJ & karaōke later in the evenings. Think: Smaller version of Buffalo Wild Wings. We arrived ~6:10PM on a Saturday. It was almost full. It’s a seat yourself operation at this time of day. There is a hostess stand, so I’m guessing that they are flexible in this regard. We took a 4-top near the door. My first impression? NOISY! Polished cement floors, hard walls … no attempts to dull the cacophony. A DJ arrives later. No, thank you. The tables were not over-stuffed for the space. I began to worry after ~7 mins; nobody had stopped by. No welcome. No waters. No menus. Four people working behind the bar, but only three(?) waitresses working the floor? As I was getting ready to intercept and detain a waitress, she appeared, but with only menus. I made it clear we were ready to order and gave her the Groupon. She was familiar with it. She asked the appropriate questions re: choice of cheeses, toppings, preparation and choice of beers. The beers & waters arrived promptly. The burgers arrived in a timely enough manner. It was a pre-made beef patty(GFS? Sysco?) and served with a toasted bakery bun — Hurray! The lettuce was fresh. The tomatoes were typical GFS/Sysco thin-sliced, tasteless pink things. We both ordered our burgers medium. Both arrived well done without any sear whatsoever. Mine was a tad too salty, just a bit, but I don’t like salt. My bride did not think hers was over-salted. It’s just a burger, not worth a redux. The fries were correctly prepared and not the typical salt-lick. — Parking looks to be very constrained for all the restaurants in the strip mall. — The WiFi is seriously mis-configured — Avoid — do NOT use. — Not CCW friendly, based on the business mix I observed. Will I return? Probably not. When I want a burger, beer and crunchy, I’ll probably keep visiting Red Coat Tavern. Marginally more expensive, but a better burger, reliable prep, better service and without the cacophony of seven TV’s and music.

Came here sat night while visiting some family in Detroit and the place was packed! The ambiance was great! Music and good food! AWSOME chicken wings and pizza! Full bar that kept us going. The DJ was great and my bartender was extremely consistent with our martinis. Will definitely come back when I’m in town again. We talked to management on way out to thank them for the service and they were gracious and thrilled to make sure we came back and enjoyed it again! Willlllll do!

I go to this bar for happy hour pretty often… happy hour runs until 7 I believe which is great & they have great food specials during happy hour too. I’m a fan of their burger which is what I usually get & it’s big… I almost always take a good portion of my food home & I think it’s only $ 5 for the burger & fries. The atmosphere can get a little loud & if there is some sort of game on it’s much louder plus they always seem to have a DJ setting up around 7:30 which is when I normally leave. Being that I usually meet old coworkers here to catch up once the noise gets to be too much the night is over. I’ve never been during lunch but I’ve been told that they have great lunch specials as well. In the past I ate one of their pizzas that was so freaking good(it was garlic & cheese I think) but the last time I was in I didn’t see it on the menu but I still always check! Random note… their floors are very slippery for some reason(I’m always in heels/work shoes when I’m here) & every time I go to the bathroom I slip & have to catch my balance… every single time!

Yup I’m a fan — especially for the half price hours. Wings/pizza are my favorite dishes there and I must say their onion rings are the boom(Small price for a large amount) The only down fall is there space — ITVERYTIGHT!!! Late nights there’s a bouncer at the door — so have your ID’s ready.(I’m guessing 21 and up after a specific time but unfortunately I don’t know the time)
