Established in 1981.

Our practice was started over three decades ago by Dr. Glen Hunt. In 2008 Dr. Van Scoyoc purchased the practice and has served the Sandhills community by providing periodontal care and implant dentistry. Dr. Van Scoyoc is a Board Certified Periodontist and is trained in laser periodontal surgery (LANAP), traditional periodontal treatment and implant placement, as well as gingival grafting. We are certified in IV conscious sedation to reduce your anxiety about treatment.

Dr. Van Scoyoc is a Board Certified Periodontist. He completed his dental degree and periodontal residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Van Scoyoc has extensive training in dental implant surgery, laser periodontal surgery (LANAP) and non-​surgical periodontal treatment. Dr. Van Scoyoc is certified in IV conscious sedation and can provide treatment with minimal anxiety for his patients
