Food here was just ok. I had the fried chicken, bbq chicken and bbq(pulled pork). The pulled pork was my favorite with the bbq sauce and coleslaw. But still not something I would go back for. But the service was great. The staff was super friendly, attentive and kind. I would give them 5 stars for that!

Chain restaurant with pretty good barbecue and chicken, good prices. If you are in a fix for quick, cheap, and slightly better than decent BBQ, this is a good option. If you’re looking for the best class of NC bbq, you’ll want to head to Pik ‘n Pig in Carthage or Papa Bills in Pembroke.

I love this place, had BBQ in many states, but this is my favorite. I also get large togo order to feed like 15 people for under 100.00 bucks, includes plates tea, sauce etc. plenty of left overs

Stopped in at a Smithfield’s while on a trip, I guess this is a chain. This is fast food style service. The guy taking the order was great, even though I could only understand half of what he said. I thought I was in New Orleans for a minute instead of North Carolina. I ordered a fried chicken/pulled pork bbq combo. The fried chicken was very good. The pork was good, but the sauce was a little too heavy on the vinegar for me. I believe that’s the specialty though and it’s just my lame northern taste-buds. It came with baked beans, fries and hush puppies which were all good. A pretty neat place if you want to grab a quick bite.
