We specialize in upscale Southern dining in a casual environment. Rhett’s works with many local farmers to feature fresh, local NC products. From our famous Shrimp and Grits to our house made Ravioli; there is something for everyone.
History
Established in 2006.
Rhett’s is a chef owned and operated business located in the heart of downtown Southern Pines. Rhett grew up around Midway, NC and when he is not cooking his passion is fly fishing. His restaurant is represents his Southern roots, love of the farm and fun personality.
Meet the Business Owner
Rhett M.
Business Owner
Born in NC and raised just outside of Winston-Salem, Rhett Morris grew up with a passion for fly fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed time outdoors with family and friends.
Rhett’s true passion started during a summer job with a barbeque restaurant. «It didn’t seem like work to me at all,» he said. «I loved being around food, and even more than eating it I loved the preparation.»
Rhett has two sons: twin boys, Joseph and Trevor; and daughter Ashley. He enjoys time with family, church, running, fly fishing, and working with local farmers.
