I am a traditional 10pin bowler. Me and a friend wanted to have fun so we went candle pin bowling at American. We were the only people there, but we had a great time. The old man working(I think he was the owner) was really nice and had a good conversation with us. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because it needs an upgrade. I will definitely go back next time I am in the area.

This place doesn’t deserve any stars, whatsoever!!! The old guy at the desk was super miserable and we couldn’t understand anything that he said, being that it was all bumbling. He literally needs to be retired and get a younger person. Also, He charged us $ 25 for an hour and we left after 25 minutes because our lane was all jacked up(seemed like most were) and it had a stench of cigarettes. Yuck!!! DEFINITELYINNEEDOF A MAJORUPGRADE. I give it 2 thumbs down

Had an excellent time here with our group! The guy who ran the place was incredibly nice. Great retro fixtures inside(see photo).

I was in Brimfield and I wanted to find a bowling alley to check out while I was in the area. I drove over to American Lanes and we bowled a few strings. It was pretty empty, but a birthday party soon set up after we were there for 30 min or so. The pins had pretty decent action, but the floor was really slick, like I almost fell. The man that was running the alley was super nice and very sweet, the prices were VERY reasonable and I would totally go there often if I was in the area. I bowl candlepin, but I did notice that there were a few 10 pin lanes there, so you can invite your friends that don’t bowl the correct way. There were pool tables there so you can always check that out if youre into that. The bathrooms were clean too. I was surprised to see that there was no Unilocal reviews for here. Hopefully now more people will check it out.
