Expressions Art Bar. Paint and Sip Studio in Southborough, MA. We host Paint Parties for Adults, Private Events, Corporate Team Building and Kids Parties. Wine and Beer Bar during Adult events. No artistic experience needed, just fun people. Great for Date Nights, Girls Night Out, and Birthdays.

History

Established in 2015.

The owner Mary Simmons did part time private paint parties for two years before opening Expressions Art Bar in 2015. She and her husband Justin are thrilled to bring the Paint & Sip concept to Southborough. They look forward to sharing paint parties, creative fun, cool events, and art classes with the local community.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Mary studied Art Education at Boston University and Framingham State. She also studied Art Leadership at Plymouth State. Mary has worked as an art teacher for a private school for over 12 years and as an art teacher for 15 years. Two years ago she started a mobile paint and sip business the same time she got pregnant with her second son. Her husband Justin, an accountant for a Commercial Real Estate company, was very supportive of her passion and encouraged the idea of entepreneurship. After completing another degree in graduate school, working full time, managing two boys and running a business on the side, Mary and her husband Justin took a vacation in Maui. After attending a paint and sip party with and attending a business bootcamp, and hitting the pause button. They took a moment to evaluate their dreams, passions and goals for their family. Upon return, Mary resigned from her job, closed the side business and reopened as Expressions Art Bar.
