Residence Inn Memphis Southaven

I truly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. We will definitely be back.

Decided to stay here because I needed a pet friendly hotel. Wow! What a disappointment. They charge $ 100 per stay for «cleaning fees» to clean up behind your pet. I won’t be staying here again. Shame, hotel isn’t bad.

I was stuck at the Memphis airport with my son. Our early 6am flight delayed due to weather. We were rebooked, called this Marriott as it had a free shuttle to puck us up and let us eat breakfast that we had missed leaving another Residence Inn earlier that AM. They had no obligation to take us in, feed us, let us use their facility while we waited for our next flight. The wondrous thing is Debra was gracious and amazing, she had transport pick us up spot 15 outside baggage. We ate breakfast, yummy. We hung out in love with my platinum status at Marriott and renewing my loyalty. The Germantown location was a bad taste in my mouth, but this Southaven location is Southheaven. Debra and this place truly deserves 5 stars, they had 4.5 on reviews through Marriott. They deserve 5 on Unilocal.Clean, well maintained, amazing staff.

Good location hard to get to off the main road.

On my last two visits to the Memphis area, I stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott-​Memphis Southaven hotel. Although it is a 15 – 20 minute drive from Memphis, it provides excellent hospitality and is more affordable compared to the downtown Memphis hotels. For $ 159.00 a night, I stayed in a dual-​suite room with two full bathrooms and a kitchenette.
The complimentary WiFi and variety of the breakfast buffet are fantastic additions to the accommodations. The rooms are clean and have been recently redecorated. The kitchenette includes all of the cookware, flatware, a coffeemaker, a microwave, and a full refrigerator. The bathrooms are large with immaculate bathtubs and the towels are plentiful. Another positive aspect of my stay was the noise level was minimal. I didn’t hear a peep out of either neighboring rooms!
The area is very safe and close to the Baptist Hospital as well as an outdoor shopping center. I think I will continue this trend and make this my habitual hideout during excursions to Memphis.
