Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep

Never again will I get my Jeep serviced here. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and asked them to check on a noise my tailgate was making. I was even prepared to wait a bit… 3 ½ hours later, I checked on the status and my Jeep had not even been touched yet! Of course, I was told that they could fit me in NEXT. No thanks — I thought that was why I made the appointment in the first place. I will go out of my way in the future to avoid this service department.

I bought my jeep and 2014. Updates and recalls were handled in a very professional manner. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. My needs are being met, and I am a very pleased customer.

I came to Landers southaven to have my car service the facility was nice and clean the staff was nice and attentive but the service Dept was another story after a 2 hr. Wait for an oil change and tire rotation I spoke to one of customer service member about my car and no one checked my car in so He had to physically walk back to the service Dept to see what was going on so once he came back he told me another 20 mins after another hr. Wait I received my car and was back on the road

I wanted to trade my Jeep Cherokee 2014 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They were more than fair on my trade in and I am driving the Jeep I wanted. They even searched for the exact Jeep I wanted and brought it in for me. No haggling, no back and forth we just did business. Thanks to everyone for making this easy and painless

All in all a poor experience. I went in knowing what I wanted. I first sent a message via Internet inquiring if they still had the vehicle. I was told yes and given an «internet only» price. When I asked to come see it the Internet manager said anytime just come down and ask for her. I get there and wait 20 minutes for her just to be told she can’t help me and I need to see a salesperson. Not a big deal.
Eventually I get a salesman, TD, and I am able to test drive it. No big deal I knew it was what I wanted. After that we sit down and do the «what can I do to get you in the truck today» routine I explain I am from out of state looking to buy. I ask the price to see if it was the same as she told me online, it was. I told him I needed to think about it and left.
I called a couple days later to set up an appointment to arrange to purchase the vehicle and was switched to a different salesperson after waiting a long time. When he gave me the price to make a deal it was 1000 higher. When I questioned this he responded your from out of state the rebates don’t apply. They knew I was from out of state from the beginning. I told him it sounded like an old bate and switch and then we had to do the old manager thing and act like we were friends. Deal was made I bought the vehicle.
One month later I call the bank to make a payment in the loan and the bank tells me the do not have a loan with my name on it. I call and leave a message at Landers but no one returns my call. I call again and finally get ahold of David Mathis. He tells me the bank was changed. I asked why they did not tell me and he stated they have the right to do it. Once again I ask why they would not let me know and he stated it would have been on the paperwork sent for the title. I tried to explain that I never received this paperwork that it was sent directly to the state via Leanne. I asked how to get ahold of the bank and he said go to the web site. I asked him for the info and he got extremely rude and eventually agreed to email it to me. When I asked to talk to his manager he stated there are only two managers their him, over finance, and the car sales manager. «He has no boss“according to him. I filed a complaint with the BBB to simply get a copy of the sales documents and have received nothing from them yet and it’s been a month. But according to what they have told the BBB they have contacted me and mailed the documents. None of this true.
Updated 5/​20/​15-​landers has reported to BBB that the have contacted me and sent me the paper work, I still have not received either from them. 4 months after purchase and I still can’t get my sales documents from them.

Had a terrible experience with their service dept. I had a transmission issue, (wouldn’t go into gear) and had the jeep towed into Landers. After a few days, I was given a call that simply said my transmission was «shot» and I needed a rebuilt one costing roughly $ 4000. I turned down the offer and took my jeep elsewhere. (Faulks automotive on Democrat charged me $ 2000) I asked Landers what I owed them for their diagnosis, they responded $ 800. That’s rather high I thought. I asked why and they responded that they had to completely take it apart… again to determine what I knew when I brought it in, that it was «shot.» Apparently the technician taking apart my vehicle was my employee and not Landers, because I now had to cover all of his man hours determining that the transmission was «shot.» All in all, pretty ridiculous and I would NEVER return to this service department.

Just bought a Jeep at Landers. Frank and Reggie were awesome and were true to their word. I’m in Memphis and both the dealers up there played games and or didn’t call me back. I wish I had just come to Landers first.
