Discount Tire Store – Southaven, MS

Made a 9am appointment on a weekday. Showed up a little early, and they pulled me in the bay right away and got started installing my new tires after I told them which kind I wanted. 20 minutes later I was done! Clean facility, fast service time. These guys have my business on tires from now on. Only disappointment was that they can’t do alignments.

I stopped in this morning, 10÷24÷15, around 8:30 without any kind of appointment. I was promptly greeted by Michael at the front desk. I explained to him that I had called earlier in the week and was quoted a price for one tire. He walked out to my car with me and did a thorough inspection of all four tires. Although I was already aware of just how bad my other tires were I explained that I was only looking to purchase the one tire to buy me some time while I ultimately try to decide what I want to do with my high mileage car. He said he understood but after looking up the cheap tire I had called about earlier in the week he found out that they didn’t have the tire in stock. What happened next is the reason that from now on when I, my girlfriend, or any other random person needs a tire I will immediately recommend this place and Michael. Without hesitation he sold me a slightly more expensive tire for the low price that I was quoted. Just that alone would have made me a repeat customer, but this guy looked at above and beyond and decided that was for amateurs. Michael took it upon himself to not only get me the more expensive tire at a cheaper rate, he went and found two slightly used tires (but still much newer than my two very old ones) and put those on my car at no extra cost. He did it for no other reason than just wanting me to be safe. If anybody in a decision making position from Discount Tire reads this then trust me when I say Michael earned a loyal customer for your business and because of that, any chance I get I will send as much business your way as possible. Positive word of mouth beats expensive advertising any day of the week. So if any potential customers read this, and you are in the market for new tires, drive to Southaven, ask for this guy Michael, then drive away happy.

Prices are hard to beat, I shopped really hard too. Andrew was really friendly and held resolved some discrepancies between online and in store.
I would recommend anyone come back and get tires here. I will be back for tires for my wife’s Tahoe.

Good pricing, fast service but the staff was a little bit lacking. Guy that checked my tire wear only checked the outside edge of my tire, apparently I had camber wear that caused the inside of my tire to wear down faster than the outside. Wasn’t a huge ordeal but could have saved me the headache of finding out later and having to wait to choose another set. Since they didn’t have 4 of the tire i had previously chosen in stock.
