Shawn Michael’s Barber Shop

History

Established in 2006.

Shawn opened the door here in 2006 as a full service barbershop. He did so after leaving the Newtown area where he worked for nine years. Within his first year in business the barbershop was awarded Best of Bucks from the Bucks County Courier Times. The staff here has grown since, and is a wonderful group of highly skilled barbers from the Bucks county and NE Philadelphia areas. Shawn Michaels Barbershop offers hot towel shaves and hairstyling for men of all ages.

Shawn has been perfecting the craft of mens hairstyling and barbering since fourteen years of age. Growing up in the NE Philadelphia area, he started cutting hair for friends and family and developed a passion for his trade. After graduating highschool he enrolled in barbering school. While attending school, he worked for an upscale salon where he apprenticed under Sassoon trained stylists. It was in the salon where Shawn began learning different Scissor cutting techniques for mens hair. Realizing he was more drawn towards the mens hairstyling side of the business, he left the salon and started cutting in a barbershop. Today, he is the owner of Shawn
