History

Established in 1978.

New York Camera & Video is a family owned and operated business, located today in Southampton, Pennsylvania. Frank Cundari (owner and president) started his venture in entrepreneurship back in the early 70s. He would travel to local flea markets and deal with vendors. Quickly, his travels turned into a full time business and he found himself in need of a store front. In 1978, Frank established his first store, Surplus Photo, in a small strip in Feasterville, Pa.

As the business grew so did the amount of store fronts. After careful thought Frank soon changed the name to New York Camera and Video. No longer would locals need to travel to the busy streets of New York City to find the best deals. In 2005, the multiple New York Camera locations were contracted into one large superstore. After all these years New York Camera & Video is still best known for its great family environment and unbeatable prices.

Toni A.

Manager

Toni Adair started working with her brother Frank Cundari in 1978 right out of high school. She would place orders, take care of shipping and receiving, and helped out on the sales floor. When she had children, they were always in the store and today they work here as adults. For Toni, the customer’s happiness is the first priority. Over the years, her innovative ideas have kept the business relevant during changing times. Today, she can assist with any repair related issue and regularly contacts manufacturers regarding repair orders. Your always welcome to ask for Toni and she can direct you to the employee who is suited for your inquiry.
