History

Established in 2003.

Barnstable Taxi was started in March of 2003 by me Michael Grella. I am the owner and one of the primary drivers for the company. I have had vast experience in the taxi business on Cape Cod having worked for Hyannis Taxi as far back as 1991. My 12 years at Hyannis Taxi were marked by my work as both a dispatcher and driver for the company. When the company was sold I ventured off on my own with one cab to start and began Barnstable Taxi. Now with multiple cars both taxis and Limos and a staff of experienced quality drivers I had worked with in the past I have help create Barnstable Taxi into the première car service on Cape Cod. Me and my crew all hope to serve you in the future.

Business Owner

Michael was born and raised in Dedham, Massachusetts. He graduated High School there in 1982. He then attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst for 2 years. Upon leaving college he moved to South Yarmouth, Ma. After working in several restaurants he found his true calling in being a delivery driver for the Boston Globe for 18 years working nights and as a cab driver for Hyannis Taxi. During the 12 years at Hyannis Taxi Michael added the responsibility of being a dispatcher for their large fleet. In 2003 Michael created his own company Barnstable Taxi and Livery. Michael strives to provide the best quality of service for all transportation needs on Cape and off while also offering the most competitive prices.
