The Camp concept provides the highest levels of fun, safety and service for its Campers, and peace of mind for their parents. The first Camp Bow Wow opened in Denver, CO in 2000 and is already celebrating it’s 10-​year anniversary! Since the Colorado-​based company started franchising in 2003, Camp Bow Wow has awarded over200 franchises in 40 states, plus one in Canada. As Camp Bow Wow grows, our simple philosophy remains the same: It’s all about the dogs!

Business Owner

After having dogs all of her life yet never kenneled any, Tami set out to provide a place where dogs can stay in a safe, fun environment. A place where dogs are well cared for and parents can go to work or play feeling comfortable. She understands the parent that hesitates leaving their pup with ANYONE because she is that parent. She found the Camp Bow Wow model in April 2007 and fell in love with it. As a licensed Physical Therapist and mother of 3 children and 4 dogs, Tami was looking for something that could combine more of her family in her work. She built Camp Bow Wow South Windsor, opening in December 2008 and has worked every day to continue to make it the safest, most fun, most stress-​free environment she possibly can for the campers that attend.
