Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Cafe & Catering

I used to love this place however today my boyfriend and i went out for breakfast there but immediately regretted it. The service was awful; the drive thru lady forgot that we ordered chips and was rude about it when we asked for it and they even burnt the bagels and undercooked the bacon (it was raw) Never coming back here!

At my job we take turns bringing in breakfast one day out of the week and I was in a rush one day and Unilocaled breakfast in the area and this spot popped up. First off, they have a driveway. Automatic bonus points in my book! They’re super fast, friendly and have delicious bagels at Between Rounds. I love all the various options for bagel, you name it, they’ve got it! Definitely a new favorite breakfast spot for me.

I’ve been coming to this shop ever since I was a little kid, and it’s always been very good. Bagels are always fresh, the hot drinks are good (even their hot chocolate, which is kind of surprising, since most other places do not do it justice), and their pastries are also very tasty. I always get their breakfast sandwiches, or for lunch, the All-​American Heavyweight (bagel piled very high with three different kinds of meat, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and with chips and a pickle). All very tasty, and all very New England-​y; out of towners would do well to stop here and try a really good bagel. ;)
Only one star knocked off for customer service-it’s hit or miss. Some are quite nice, other grumpy, and others have straight-​up attitudes. BUT, they are efficient, so at least there’s that.

Not sure why the staff at this location have an attitude? I have been through the drive through several times over the past few months and have been greeted with an attitude each time. No smile or friendliness when you pull up! Yes the food is good except they are always out of spinach bagels, but this location needs a serious class on good customer service because it is severely lacking! I would also recommend a new intercom system for the drive through as it seems the employees have a terrible time hearing you and vice versa! Tell your employees to smile once in a while!

This place has by far the best bagels! Try their everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and you won’t be disappointed. These guys have put the perfect recipe together for the perfect bagel. 20 star if it ever existed.

I recently was recommended to give this place a try. I was craving egg salad for lunch (Yummmy) and said sure… why not!!! This place is amazing. The options are endless. I had an egg salad on a wheat wrap with a pickle and a bag of chips (all sandwiches come with chips and a pickle). This place also has bakery items for any sweet tooth cravings. I’m actually thinking this place is better than Panera Bread.

I simply cannot understand the three-​star reviews here. Between Rounds is the greatest bagel place on the planet, hands down.
Boar’s Head deli meat for lunch sandwiches, freshly-​cooked egg for the breakfast sandwiches, bagels are consistently delicious, lots of variety and plenty of options.
The drive-​thru is convenient and they have free wifi for guests. They even have a large back room where you can meet a large group or hunker down with your computer to get some work done.
I eat here at least three times a week. Service is fast and efficient, the quality of the food is superb. The bagels are top-​notch and the sandwiches are large and in charge. There’s nothing better within 50 miles. Everywhere we go, we compare the quality to Between Rounds. They have set the standard and it is high.

Between Rounds is our go-​to lunch spot at work. My favorite item on the menu is the tuna wrap. It is so tasty and comes with a pickle and a bag of chips. Come to think of it, I think most of their sandwiches come with it! I’ve also gotten the roast beef sandwich as well as the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. No frills, but very well done. They have hot sandwiches, salads, of course breakfast items, coffee, baked goods, fruit salad, yogurt parfaits, soup… you name it! I usually call in orders for the office and the staff members are always professional and courteous.

The food here is good and the bagels always seem fresh. They don’t do a good job of making sure that some items are available throughout the day and a lot of things are out of stock by the time we get there day after day. I would think if customers ask for items and you’re repeatedly out of stock that you might up your inventory. Employees are not friendly and make you feel like you’re irritating them. The customer service is my biggest complaint.

Went for the first time to get a bagel with veggie cream cheese. This place is nice with kitschy coffee mugs. I will go back.

Stop here every other Friday or so for a bagel and a coffee. The bagels are fresh and I particularly like their scallion and vegetable cream cheeses. When they toast the bagels, the cream cheese still stays thick, so you don’t have to worry too much about spillage if you are grabbing it to go on your commute. They have a good selection of coffee, flavored and non. The service is decent — more efficient than overly friendly, but that’s what I’d want in a morning bagel stop.
To sum it up: Definitely a better bagel than what you can get at a chain or grocery store, so worth a stop if you are local or passing through, but necessarily a «destination.»

My favorite place for breakfast! The bagels are fantastic and there are lots of cream cheese choices. Bakery items are generally good. Sandwiches ingredients are fresh and yummy.
It’s also a great place to go with a laptop — there’s a room to the side that’s often very quiet. I’ve spent long hours working here and they let me refill my coffee cup for free!

After I’d been out this morning to pick up my normal coffee, on the way to dropping my lovely son off to school, we passed this place. He remined me that had promised we’d check it out. It was early so why not.
1 its a nice place for breakfast and they have a decent menu, the bagles seem fresh at first glance.
2. they have lox spread as an option, but nope they don’t carry that anymore (strike 1)
3. the bagles are fresh but, but when asked did I want the bagle toasted on the first order I told the counter person no, but she didn;t ask me for my second order which was a cheader bagle with butter (i wanted that one toasted, cold butter on a cold bagle not so good) guess I should have spoke up.
4. they have a nice spread for the different coffees they offer but no napkins out and iIhad spilled alittle, the counter person seemed kinda aggitated that I asked for a napkin???
5.I checked out the lunch items they had out already which were a few salads, they offer soup too but they were not ready yet. They also have iced coffee in the fountain like dispeners.
6. over all this seemes like a nice place to pop by for a quick coffee or a bagle or cookie?
Come again maybe, make it a habit no.

We had high hopes for this place, but it was a disappointment. We had sandwiches for lunch and took bagels to go. The sandwiches were fine, but only fine, and very small for the price. The bagels remind me of grocery store bagels. We won’t be back.

Between Rounds is a really great place. The bagels are always fresh, and they make a fantastic cup of coffee. It’s way more comfortable and pleasant than Starbucks (in my opinion), when I want to sit down with my laptop and use the free WiFi over lunch. My favorite food is the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a butter croissant. I’d highly recommend this location and the other locations to anyone wanting to grab a quick bite, or stay for awhile. :)

What a great place for a quick breakfast! Between Rounds has a huge coffee selection– both hot and iced– and an assortment of pastries, bagels and breakfast sandwiches. This particular location is really bright and comfortable, and the prices are super reasonable. I had a western wrap, which was really fresh and not at all heavy or greasy like breakfast sandwiches can be.
