After going in this store for my second time with a negative experience I will NOT be going back to this place EVER!!! First time I went in I did not even get a hello or any customer service so I walked out. After my second time yesterday going in I met a very rude woman with a thick accent as I was trying on sunglasses. After I didn’t see anything I liked I was exiting the store and the lady say «thanks for nothing». Very snotty pretentious hurry up and buy people with no customer service or people skills. Buyer beware

Very displeased with their customer service and lack of caring for patients. They are over priced and over rated. Do yourself a favor and find an eyecare center that treats you with respect. 1. They broke my glasses while they were readjusting them last year and would not replace the. 2. They gave me the wrong person’s contact prescription and hassled me about the refund and did not apologize. 3. When I ran out of contacts and needed them in an emergency they would not let me even BUY a sample pair or offer any assistance.
Very rude receptionists.

The customer service and vision inspection was great up to the point of the eyeglass selection. That is where you see the vivid avaricious style of business show it’s ugly head. A Coach Eyeglass is chosen for you and the fitter is not veering from it as she claims the ones within your budget are too narrow for no-​line progressive lenses even though I clearly showed her my Bellagio Eyewear I was wearing was even narrower and had no line progressives, and I have never had a single problem transitioning the focus of the eyeglasses.$ 575 less $ 200 credit from the groupon deal and balance $ 375.00. Bum deal. Get your vision test here and buy your eyeglasses wherever you can get a better deal. I do Costco. THE OLD BAIT AND HOOK DEAL WINK WINK.

Being argumentative doesn’t help your case and I also don’t see what my other reviews have to do with anything. I know after working for Sunglass Hut that no, they don’t require you to leave your glasses for an hour. I used to replace screws all the time. There’s usually a little wheel that measures the hole size so you know you’re getting the right fit. I’ve also had glasses for most of my life. I know how to not scratch my lenses.
I even told people to go to your shop if they needed glasses but I guess I’m rescinding that recommendation.
Also– It’s not my, or any other commenters, fault that your good reviews are getting buried. Maybe if you tried to focus a little bit more on customer service and less arguing on the internet you’d have better reviews.

The good: nice new office, convenient location, plenty of parking, extended business hours, designer fashionable frame options, dr aucello is great!
The bad: the office mgr is rude, abrasive and a rip off artist! She told me that my ins didn’t cover glasses (which I knew was inaccurate) so I left. After calling to confirm my ins benefits my ins company then called her to inform her of my benefits. She then proceeded to argue with my insurance company and give them a hard time about providing my benefits even though Dr. Aucello accepts Eyemed insurance. It’s too bad they were more interested in being combative instead of customer service, I really wanted to buy a pretty pair of frames but I haven’t been able to buy them because they still won’t honor my full insurance benefits I’ve been back there 2x and called 2x she’s insisting on charging me more $$ even though my insurance company called to reiterate the proper cost… so I guess LensCrafters it is!!!

The doctor and staff were very nice and helpful. The frames and lenses were ridiculously expensive! I purchased the Groupon with $ 200 towards glasses and even with that the total came to $ 375! Seriously $ 575 for a pair of glasses! Not to mention the same frames were $ 50 less at one of the major eyewear chains! The glasses were nice but not nice enough to spend that insane amount of money on! I will be going elsewhere!

The staff was friendly but they can’t get their stuff together. I was there August 30 But I got a bill 2 wks ago claiming that my exam was not covered by my insurance and they weren’t sure what the reason And they claimed the agreed-​upon amount is $ 150 so that’s what they were doing me I had the information from the insurance that it was already paid I had to have the insurance company call them and tell them. Ridiculous

I needed glasses for first time at 48 years old. They were friendly and helpful with picking out frames and what I needed. Mind you I have never worn glasses and had no idea what type lens I needed. After asking what i did for a living they made suggestions. While waiting for my glasses to come in, someone mentioned to me «did you get transition lens, since you are in and out of your car 10x a day for your job». I said no one suggested it and I knew nothing about it. When glasses came in they refused to redo my lens even though I of course was going to pay what ever I needed, because they went through my insurance «eye med». I have since gone elsewhere for my contacts and second pair of glasses and was told they would redo my lens on my frames if I wanted for minimal cost. This place deserves 0 stars.

Maybe if I give them 2 stars Unilocal won’t delete this review, like the other bad review for Aucellos. Really only would give them 1 star.
Well… Positives the doctor was nice. She was efficient.
Negatives: The dilated my eyes then made me wait in their bright sunny waiting room! Great thinking! But mostly these people are rip off artists. The doctor asked me if I wanted to spend 65 dollars to take images of a freckle on my eye. I went in for a purely preventive service. I agreed to the extra $ 65 but when I went to check out they were trying to have me pay over $ 200! The receptionist said because the doctor found a freckle it wasn’t a preventive service, it was medical. Then she pressured me to pay up front! If I did so the amount wouldn’t be reviewed by my insurance company! I think because I have ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision they knew they couldn’t get more money from me. I’ve already filed a complaint with my insurance company– I will not pay more than the agreed upon $ 65.
