We pride ourselves on catering to the needs of our customers. Need a sugar-free cookie? A dairy-free cupcake? A gluten-free brownie? A rich and decadent birthday cake? You came to the right place! We’ll work with you to create items that meet your needs and never compromise great taste.

History

Established in 2014.

Bakery Bar founder Maryana Geller started out hosting brunches for her nearest and dearest at her Park Slope apartment. Store-bought bagels soon gave way to homemade breads, scones, pastries, and booze-filled cupcakes. Before she knew it, Maryana was making her own crackers, pretzels, and, yes, even bagels (and schmear!). She was also finding ways to liquor up her cakes, cookies, and truffles. And so, Bakery Bar was born.

When her little cousin was diagnosed with Celiac disease, Maryana went on a mission to incorporate gluten-free goodies into her repertoire. Through naturally gluten-free desserts (like meringue and flourless chocolate cake) and the use of gluten-free substitutes, this bread addict has convinced even herself that a gluten-free diet can still be a yummy one.

Today, Bakery Bar has an ever-evolving menu of standard cookies, cupcakes, scones, and other treats. But our specialty is custom-made baked goods that cater to the needs of our customers.
