Satellite Dialysis

Part of a Bay Area based chain of centers for Renal Dialysis.
This center has performance rated at 30 out of 30 points in the state required scoring system.
It has 24 chairs/​stations and open 6 days a week. Staff is cheerful and caring for this end-​stage renal therapy requiring 3 – 4 hours per session 3 days a week.
I had an older relative come here for their first dialysis session, and it went well. There are comfy lounge chairs and TVs for each station, and the nearly all Filipino staff knew what they were doing with the machines and procedures. Most of the patients this day and time were Filipino or Chinese.
My relative appeared markedly improved after the 3 hour session, although very tired, the processing out the many toxins that were building up in their body was lifesaving.
They will need to do this 3 times a week for the rest of their lives.
