I give him zero stars. If you need a divorce lawyer send your soon to be ex to this guy and get a real lawyer for yourself. He is nothing but a con-​artist that will take your money and drop your case at the last minute. He only cares about making money for himself and moving on. Stay far far away. Yeah Gary, you’re the worst!

Modena is the attorney presiding over my aunt’s trust. I met him for the first time a few years ago, we continue to correspond with him and his staff afterward for updates and maintenance.
His secretary, Sandy, is really helpful. She’s sensitive to our family issues (they’re in the family law business, go figure) and I swear she knows as much as Modena himself.
When the trust had to be enacted, it did so without a hitch under Modena’s watch. He’s a local guy, educated in the Bay — not a transplant and he works this angle to relate to the client.
Final Call:
If you need a family attorney, you should at least make an appointment and interview Modena. He got the job done for us.
