Mills-Peninsula Laboratory, Radiology and Mammography

Ridiculously understaffed and unorganized. I sat around for an hour and a half waiting to get an appointment with the only doctor who could provide me a specific service at this department.
I was at a clinic in the same hospital and while there, was given instructions to see the radiology department. My actual doctor and her assistant/​nurse were awesome. She called to schedule for me, was placed on hold numerous times. She informed the person on the other line «Julie» that her patient was waiting and needed to be scheduled and was trying to do it same day. Obviously it’s a shot in the dark and idiot me believed they’d be able to but instead of being upfront and honest about the situation (short staffed, only 1 doctor who knew how to do what was needed, it wasn’t going to be done today), they had me wait around until the «staff shift» was over which was a good hour and a half, only to be told the doctor had to leave.
Moral of the story — do not get your hopes up and head on home and Schedule with them properly, be prepared to be on hold and don’t waste your time waiting for them to get it together on a busy day.
