This review is for the hospital. Clean and the staff were very helpful. A bit confusing with 2 different pharmacies. But not too long of a wait.

OK, I only ate the Phở with Chicken. Nothing else. But let me say it was delicious! I asked for extra fixings and line and they accommodate you. It is full of flavor and fresh ingredients. If you are stuck at SSFKAISER, for whatever reason. This soup is inexpensive and yummy.

PHO with shredded(white) meat Chicken… Hands down my very favorite chicken phở in all of NCAL(&SCAL) that I’ve tasted so far — obviously, I haven’t tasted every restaurant but here’s why… Ironically, it’s in a hospital but don’t let that stop you! The cafeteria there is CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN! The food is prepared in a very hygienic environment(unlike so many places) and the broth is slow cooked(from what I gathered from the cook) and then to top it off, it is tasty but leaves enough room for you to customize/flavor the taste to your liking with black bean sauce and Spiracha hot sauce — unlike other places where you taste allot of salt and MSG and flavoring spices… The cooks here really make it a healthy dish… and tasty!!! You gotta give it a try if you’re nearby on the 2nd floor(not in the hospital areas; it’s in more of the administrative side of the building!)…

I dunno if it’s the 14 hour fast talking, but this turkey burger is delicious. They have coconut juice. This place is wonderful.

Having breakfast while waiting(1−9−13). Food is delicious from the grill and reasonably priced.

I’ve tried 1) tuna melt — alright. standard. they can also put lettuce and tomato on it if you want. you can pick between swiss, american cheeses. on white or whole wheat breads. They ma 2) veggie burger — it’s ok. also a very standard veggie burger 3) stir-fry bar — i think it’s available MWF. It’s good, you get to add the vegetables that you want(or not), and then add the sauces that you want. You give them the bowl that you filled up, and then if you want, they’ll add chicken, and they do all the stir-frying for you. The sauces/seasoning options are pretty good — there’s like 3 or 4 hot sauces, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, etc. I think this is the best. Pretty good for a hospital cafeteria, I think. 4) chicken pesto sandwich — not bad. I’d eat it again 5) entrees. they have different entrees daily incorporating a meat and veggie, and a starch, typically rice. 6) Phở — You have to ask for it by the entrée station. It tastes ok — don’t forget to put in hoisin sauce from the condiments bar by the utensils. It was my first time so I wasn’t sure how much to put in there and didn’t put enough in. 7) wraps — I forgot which wrap I got, but you can ask for any number of cold sandwiches or put it in a wrap if you’re a low-carb person. There’s plenty of drinks available: coffee, a mocha/latte machine!, sodas, bottled iced teas, bottled smoothies, etc in their beverage fridges. All in all, I think they have a pretty good selection.

I have to knock them down one. I had another test that required fasting and had my breakfast at Kaiser again. This time I ordered breakfast combo #2(2 eggs, 2 meat, hash browns, and toast), I asked for sausage and an extra egg. I got two eggs, and three pieces of bacon not at all what I ordered. It takes them so long that I didn’t dare wait for another breakfast.
