History

Established in 1932.

Over eighty years ago, with a philosophy of customized, personal and professional service, Harry McCune launched his company providing sound systems for dance and sporting events. Today, with Harry’s original philosophy intact, we at McCune offer a full spectrum of event-​related services.

Recent events of note include providing sound and technical support for the Americas Cup, TED Conferences, Google, Meffy’s, Academy of Achievement, Genetech. Not to be overshadowed are plenty of smaller meetings that run with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail as the larger ones.

Noted in the industry for our high retention rate, many employees have been with the company over twenty years and our clients remain faithful as we adapt to each event. Our collective experience ensures when the lights go down and the show begins, our teamwork and professional focus will make your event run smoothly, with every cue planned and precisely executed.

Cris joined McCune in 1988 as an a/​v technician and moved to Sales Manager in 1998.

This 26 years business experience makes for quick analysis of your event needs. He is quick to ask the small questions that affect the big picture. Sometime that just starts with a friendly «How many folks are in the audience?», or it might be detailed response to your RFP.
